Toronto-based Brazilian Hauy steps up on Lee Burridge's inimitable Get Weird imprint with a lush three tracker in tow. The release, which drops January 20th on digital and shortly after on vinyl (Feb 3rd), features an exquisite electronic blend, which is just as at home on the playa as it is in the club. 'Your Way To Paradise' leads the line, a track you can hear in full premiere on When We Dip today, and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Hauy has assembled a seductive seven minute beauty that rides on a supreme groove. The backdrop is shrouded in an uplifting and hypnotic melange of melodic textures, which come together in the main breakdown around an engrossing crescendo.

Undoubtedly one of his country’s foremost electronic music artists, Pablo Bolivar is a man whose name will be familiar to most with an interest in discerning electronic music. 
A fierce proponent of quality-driven house, techno and everything in between, Bolivar’s much-respected works have led him to respected outlets such as Culprit, Moodmusic and Curle. 
However, it’s Bolivar’s work at his own Seven Villas label for which he is best known. 
A vehicle for music that Pablo describes as fitting his definition of “Musica Para Estar”, the label has been on a stunning run of form of late, epitomised by Bolivar’s last release, the Traverse (Reprise), a collaboration with Joerg Schuster aka Sensual Physics, a German producer whose aesthetic expertly fits in with Seven Villas’. 
‘Traverse (Reprise)’ features 8 tracks reprised by Pablo to create new versions for a longer listen, the release offers a fascinating insight into the mind of a producer for whom experimentation is always key. 

Although he mostly keeps the spine of each track intact, this project enables Bolivar to add an escapist, dubby and ambient spirit to each track, often adding a soft, deep and sophisticated club aura as he goes. Tasteful and subtle, the release can be viewed as a sequel, albeit one that pays homage to its predecessor in stunning and fitting fashion. Featuring a natural flow that meanders occasionally but still keeps the listener’s attention firmly intact, tracks such as ‘Mondragon’, ‘Malaga’ and ‘Miracle’ take on a new life of their own here, whereas the likes of ‘My Sense’ and ‘Lisbon’ also showcase Bolivar’s for the conceptual. 

A thought-provoking piece of work that conjures up warm feelings throughout, this ‘reprise’ version of ‘Traverse’ is a joyous listen from start to finish.

For release number 184 on Ready Mix, we are revisiting a benchmark moment in the label's story; Hraach's 'Paseo De Los Tristes' EP, with a stash of brand new remixes.

Originally released in 2016 with Dave Pad and Beat Factory remixes, the release saw support from Zone+, Armen Miran, EL Mundo, Savvas, BiG AL, Pete Moss, VieL, Darin Epsilon among many others. It was also featured in Trndmsk.de while the Beat Factory Remix was selected by Mark Knight to appear on his 'Toolroom Ibiza 2016' compilation. 

Since creating 'Paseo De Los Tristes', Armenian born Hraach has been setting the world alight with a series of incredible productions and remixes for some of the underground scene's most respected labels.

Formed in 2016, the same year 'Paseo De Los Tristes' was released, Berlin-based duo Britta Unders are first up on remix duty. Retaining the spirit of the original version, the pair steer the track into far darker waters. Classical piano, haunting strings, bleak synths and a brooding new vocal all seem delightfully at odds with its 'Happy Camper' title.  

Hailing from Bahrain, Zone+ turns in a slick and hypnotic reworking full of spiritual atmospheres, showing off the sound that has seen his music signed to Lee Burridge's 'All Day I Dream' label among others. 

Poland's Salski lifts the tempo and turns in a warm, sci-fi influenced remaking of 'Paseo De Los Tristes' with distorted synth-scapes leading the charge into dramatic musical territory.

Remixing 'Bajo El Cielo Azul', L.A. based Sarkis Mikael lays out a solid deep house groove before adding plaintive guitars and sweeping pads to create an expansive, desert-like soundscape. 

Finally, a producer who grew up in a real desert in Lebanon, Rabih Rizk delivers a richly layered and unmistakably middle-eastern reworking of 'Bajo El Cielo Azul', summoning up sonic mirages with thrilling vocal snippets and heavy percussion.

Exclusive Santiago Garcia 'Serenata'

'Serenata' has been a favorite of many, DJs and audience, for quite some month. Now the melodic enriched percussive driven tune by Santiago Garcia has its official release on Berlin based label Exit Strategy. Starting off with a delicate bassline 'Serenata' rapidly introduces the key-synths and adds slight percussions to set the tone of the track. Santiago Garcia then introduces its listeners to an additional synth-melody with a hypnotically sounding virtue that prepares the track's climax before fading away in the gentleness of synergy the synths and bassline create.
