Under the alias Daedelus, Alfred Darlington has been an instigator of electronic music culture for the past 25+ years. A fore-figure of Los Angeles' Beat Scene, they have released 20+ LPs, countless EPs, remixes, and additional productions on labels such as Ninja Tune, WARP, and Brainfeeder. As a performer they're synonymous with controllers, from the grid Monome to computer-free modular, and have played over 1,000+ shows on 6 continents at events ranging from Boilerroom to festival mainstages such as Coachella.

Dj at Dublab, founding faculty member for the Berklee College of Music's EDI (Electronic Digital Instrument) program, and S.E.T.I. artist in residence.

BIO: 
Russian producer PROXY has made a name for himself over the last decade as a mysterious maestro comfortable with creating unusual and inexplicably extraordinary beats. His strangely spellbinding sound has commanded dance floors all over the world.

As a performer PROXY has achieved regular success internationally, with high profile shows and largest festivals dating back nearly a decade: Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, I love Techno, Creamfields, Hard Summer, Electric Zoo and many more.

Proxy’s signature sound is as dark as it is beautiful. Without losing the modernity of his production, Proxy includes the raw sounds that inundated bass scene. His engagement in such reconstruction has resulted in an experimental sound atypical to EDM’s current scene. It’s hallmarked with futuristic vibes, razor-sharp hooks, hypnotic breakdowns, and jagged synths.

PROXY has also worked with Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, Moby, Peaches, Tiga, Boys Noize, and many others. He asserts, “My music tells you what to do, but never why. Your ear may be afraid, but your body completes its labour.”

In 2007 Titan took the first steps in production of  the beat house music.
Fascinated by acid house and Detroit techno he crammed his studio with samplers and drum machines, which revealed useful in 2007 when he started to exhume old vinyls of the 80’s disco music.
After some productions in the music scene he took the chance to get noticed for the official remix of “La mano mia” by Bugo. It got a good success by the critics and by the web radios, which appreciated its free and easy style that makes the track cool and fresh. 

The rejection of the merciless electro club dictatorship, imposed by the now-a-days music scene, lead him to experiment with new sonorities. His identification badges are crystalline samplings and bouffant synthesizers.

At the beginning of 2009 he proved himself to be a superlative and visionary deejay with the Airys’s remix “Vedo in te”.
In the same year he sign with “La Valigetta”  and release his first EP “The Bruxism Groove”
After worldwide success for Bruxism Groove (La Valigetta - remixed by The Phantom’s Revenge, His Majésty Andre, Useless Wooden Toys & Scuola Furano and supported by Armand Van Helden, MSTRKRFT, Bloody Beetroots, A-Trak, Steve Aoki and already included by Duck Sauce (A-Trak & Armand Van Helden) in the covermount mix for the club culture bible Mixmag) comes out, always for La Valigetta, the newest ep Ròdeo with remixes by Tommie Sunshine (Ultra Records - nyc) and Sammy Bananas (Fool's Gold - nyc).Another nu-disco anthem that climbed charts on Beatport, Juno Download and iTunes.  
We also remember the last success: TiTAN remix for Tommie Sunshine’s hit 5AM (ft. Oh Snap) (Ultra Records) edited by Laidback Luke and promoted like ‘mp3 of the day‘ on RCRDLBL.

TiTAN muove i primi passi nella produzione di  beat house nel 2007.
Affascinato dall' acid house e  dalla techno Detroit  riempie  lo studio con campionatori e drum machine che si riveleranno molto utili quando nel 2007 inizia a riesumare  i vecchi vinili della disco music anni 80.

Dopo alcune produzioni nel sottobosco musicale arriva, nel 2008, la prima opportunità per farsi notare con il remix ufficiale del brano "La mano mia" di Bugo, ottenendo un discreto successo dalle critiche e dalle web radio che apprezzano  lo stile disinvolto e menefreghista in grado di reinventare il brano e trasformarlo in qualcosa di fresco e stiloso.

Il rifiuto della spietata dittatura electro da club, che la scena  musicale odierna impone, lo porta a sperimentare nuove sonorià: campionamenti cristallini e sintetizzatori cotonati  sono segni distintivi e caratterizzanti delle sue produzioni.

Agli inizi del 2009, con il remix del brano “Vedo in te”  di Airys, conferma le sue brillanti doti di deejay visionario.
Sempre nello stesso anno firma con “La valigetta” e con essa publica il suo primo EP “The Bruxism Groove”
