Once an infamous host for underground raves in Berlin, Sarah Wild is now a DJ and producer. Her energetic sets oscillate between acid basslines and piano elements. Sarah has already released on @returntoforever1 @correspondant,  @permvac, @dessert-berlin @feinestier and her own label @midnightoperators.  When she was a girl her father took her on tour with his surf-rock band. She grew up hanging out in backstages of clubs and venues all around Europe. Not only through this first touring experience Sarah was always surrounded by music. She learned saxophone and piano supported by her grandmother who is also a singing teacher. All her youth Sarah played in bands and was part of several jazz projects. Also her passion for electronic dance music developed at this time. Sarah was born and raised in Jena, a former east-German city who became popular for its delicate scene of electronic music. She quickly became part of it as a dancer and also started her first little projects as an artist. Sarah Wild started her solo project in 2016 and has been touring in Europe, Mexico, Panama and Guatemala.

This is not a biography where we tell you who she warmed up for, or played with - This is where we tell you that Aya, the Singaporean-based Yokohama native stands out on her own. 

Constantly working hard as a performing DJ, the results have seen her performing for promoters/venues such as Osaka Techno Mafia and club JOULE in Japan, Modulus KL in Malaysia, and Arcan Saigon and Warehouse Hanoi in Vietnam. She's also a regular fixture for the Thugshop collective in Singapore, who owns Headquarters, MDLR and TUFF Club. 

Her style uniquely crosses the realms of club music - energetic, uplifting, empowering techno, always digressing with some cheeky and fun surprises in between. Her background in classical music makes it possible for her to assimilate into any situation, taking in the energy of the crowd before her and giving it back through her own story - you can definitely hear this in her highly commended set on HÖR Radio in Berlin, with tracks from Ryuchi Sakamoto and Joe Hisaishi skillfully blended into her mix.

In recent news, she joins the established record label, Midnight Shift as its newest member, while earning a feature in Vogue as one of the female DJs transforming the nightlife scene.
