Kalabrese is back with a beautiful journey in his signature style teaming up with the inter- continental trio Lapcat. Here in a previously unreleased long version that creates magical moments on the dance floor and positive energy wherever you are.

It all started with a community of DJs and beatmakers. Inspired by the various electronic techno + house tingled music from Detroit and Chicago and a deep passion for UK bass music as well as US hip hop and 70’s soul-jazz. This crew of guys from Zurich and the surrounding area combined all of that and started creating a sound which they called b-boy house and teknowsoul. The first bunch of releases brought international breakthrough and artists like Soultourist, Quarion, Cavalier, The Lost Men, and John Daly left a deep impact and sparked the interest of the global dance scene. Back then Alex Dallas hosted the Loud Minority Nights at the infamous Dachkantine in Zurich, inviting special and like-minded international guests. Accompanied by the artists of the Drumpoet Community, this night became a blueprint and was continued in Alex's new club Zukunft (founded in 2005) and to this day the Drumpoet's host institutional nights there.

The club was always the spot where it all came together and where the new music was tested. it was clear from the very beginning that it had to embrace joy, passion, dedication, and positivity. Ron Shiller and Alex Dallas share the same philosophy when it comes to music. They do not jump on trends quickly. In contrary to the usual mechanisms of the hype dance music industry, they let the music breathe like a bottle of good old wine and take the time it needs to present timeless quality dance music.

This compilation manifests the long history of the label, the friendships made over decades, and the honest love for dance music. Drumpoet is more than proud to present a compilation celebrating the label's 15th or even 16th anniversary, with special performances by iconic artists such as Herbert, Roman Flügel, Frank Wiedemann, Manuel Tur, Lauer, John Daly, Kalabrese, Manuel Fischer, Nicola Kazimir, Ripperton and Jimi Jules. A journey into the world of sounds, profound without dogma and as brave and innocent as it gets.

Music emanates from many fountains. Some source a drive for change, a message of peace or an unutterable nuance of feeling that cannot be expressed any other way. Sometimes music emerges from the magical meeting of minds merged in mystical union. This is one such release.

@uone and Mojo Filter (@thebenz) met on a dancefloor in England at Noisily Festival in 2015 and instantly hopped on the wavy train - destination unknown. Their shared ecstatic humility for the power of ritual and transcendental music fused their vision to produce a wide array of bristling results. These ranged from the sharing of knowledge, food, culture, friends, music and love for their Priestesses. Quickly their collaboration as humans translated into three succinct tracks made at Uone's studio in Australia at the turn of 2018. It was as if these tracks were already complete and it was just a case of the pair piecing together the parts of the puzzle.

Mighty meteors Jamie Stevens and Adam Freeland were mutual friends who happened to be circling in similar orbits at the time were able to shower the visitation with astonishing beams of accuracy and guidance producing an otherworldly fusion of friendship and far out sounds.

The results are a mind expanding array of psychedelic musicality, production and intention woven into three tracks to mark a powerful episode in their story. Namely the friends both had baby daughters within months of each other. These children are the new generation. They are the future and their birth is a rite of passage from the cosmic oneness of space into the earthly realms of manifestation. With them they bring a message of unity, a message of change and a message of purpose.

What started in 2019 was merely 2 guys sharing a passion for electronic music and all its various avenues. Fast forward a few years and you’ll find these two deeply invested in sounds of deep, indie, cosmic and progressive sounds, while still on the search for radical frequencies to add to their distinctive sound, also known as jet fuel. 

Fuse Bossie's relentless love affair with disco and house in all its forms with Burger's remarkable ability to find harmony amidst a multitude of musical landscapes, an extraordinary synergy emerges.

In the past few months they have been included in lineups alongside some of the biggest names such as Roman Flugel, Damon Jee, Thomas Von Party, Adam Ten & Mita Gami to name a few.  They've also had the privilege of playing at some of South Africa’s most sought after festivals such as Wolfkop Weekender, Billy’s Beach, Sexy Groovy Love, Pangea, Tropical Roast and Bazique.
