LNOE136 marks the debut of critically acclaimed producer Durante on our label. His double-tracker EP immediately grabs your attention with the same intensity and honesty that producer Kevin Durante strives for in his body of work, earlier releasing pieces art on labels like Anjunadeep, W&O Street Tracks and Earthly Delights. Perhaps his Italian roots push the producer/DJ to seek a higher beauty, but with more than a decade of creation, experimentation, and discovery behind him, his personal journey has taught him not to fear honesty. 

The music on this release is balanced beautifully between both tracks, creating a dynamic experience through lush arps and spacious grooves. It’s a pleasure to hear how playfully this US based producer approached these little gems of perception, you can clearly feel the passion and experience that was put into the music. Durante comments; “Sasha is someone's career I admire greatly, and it's an honor to release on his label. Most of the elements in Thread Tension were played/recorded live on my synths which made it a really fun track to work on. I feel Winder is a great compliment to the extensive amount of emotion in Thread Tension, so I'm very happy to be releasing these together.”

Since the beginning of Lost & Found, Guy J wanted to make every release on his platform special. This attitude kept the label's reputation as one of the global leaders in underground club music. It is impossible to predict the label's next move, but it is likely to be outstanding. That's what the new release is all about! X-Press 2 is the legendary award-winning UK duo with rock-solid status. Numerous hits and classics they have produced made them both critically acclaimed and beloved by international audiences. One of those classics is AC/DC! The single has been delivering excitement on the dance floors since the beginning of the century, and it was about time to come up with an equally exciting update. Guy J managed to keep all the recognizable elements of the original track while putting his apparent sound signature present. It is one of those remixes where the involvement of the remixer brings exponential improvement, making it larger than life. The other part of this two-track release is no less impressive! Future is a masterpiece by Halo Varga from the year 2000. It was probably impossible to see the longevity of this piece of music while making the track. However, over two decades later, this classic is still relevant, especially with Guy J's hands on it.

Darin Epsilon's label Perspectives Digital returns for the fourth consecutive year with its massively popular ‘MMW & WMC Sampler'.  The 2017 edition continues the tradition of showcasing some of the finest talent in the industry.  

The first selection of the series is provided by DJ's Roma Rone and Igor Ri9or.  blaktone is a brand new music project from Saint-Petersburg and their music is a symbiosis of progressive and techno sounds.  Ri9or is no stranger to the electronic music scene with releases on labels such as Balkan Connection, Bonzai Progressive, Visceral, and Pangea Recordings.  blaktone's ‘Aurora' teases the listener with threads of atmospheric sweeps but quickly launches into commanding force with its dark and gnarly bassline.

Teaming up for the second selection is Hasan Mogol and Be Morais.  German producer Hasan Mogol has been creating an array of hypnotizing, crowd-pleasing sounds for over ten years.  Brazilian producer and co-owner of Not Another Music, Be Morais, is rapidly establishing himself as a respected artist with his steady stream of works on Stripped Recordings, Dear Deer, and Slideways.  Hasan and Be Morais' collaboration on ‘Awkward Dance' crafts an undeniably industrious and sinister vibe with its pounding kick, haunting bassline and grimy chords. 

Next up is Kamilo Sanclemente making his third appearance on the label. The Colombian producer maintains his masterful discography on imprints such as Einmusika, Baroque, and Mistique Music.  He's a staple on the Progressive House charts and a constant presence in Hernan Cattaneo's charts and ‘Resident' radio show.  Kamilo's offering titled ‘The White City' pushes the listener into a spellbinding state with its vigorous layers of percussion and eerie vocal samples.

Completing the series is Hungarian producer Paul Kardos.  Paul's impactful debut on Perspectives titled ‘The Other' was instrumental to the success of the ‘2016 ADE Sampler' last October.  Paul brings his signature blend of melodic techno and contemporary progressive house with his newest production. In ‘Ancient Astronaut', the dominating groove and whimsical chords continuously build, creating relentless tension that satisfies in the third act with a dramatic finish.

With their first collaborative project Artfaq and Ezequiel Arias land on Cid Inc’s Replug Records with ‘Babel’. Hailing from Cordoba, Nacho Ferroni and Nacho Varela make up the Artfaq production team. The Argentinean duo have found favour amongst progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while finding a home on Antrim’s rapidly rising Or Two Strangers imprint. Similarly, upon making his debut in 2013, Cordoba resident Ezequiel Arias quickly became a favourite of the two storied DJs as well, eventually leading to releases on Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank Records, Sudbeat Music and Suara. Also a member of the Replug artist roster, Ezequiel made his label debut in November of 2017 with a contribution to the ‘Defined 01’ collection. Now making a welcome return to the Finnish imprint, Ezequiel pairs with label debutants Artfaq for a highly anticipated EP. 

Comprised of two tracks it’s the title piece ‘Babel’ which leads the release off.  Putting your emotional centres on high, a bed of warm beats and hip swinging rhythms set the stage for a full, driving groove. Redolent effects add an astral charm as the first act unfolds, while fragmented melodies are gently teased as the main break commences. Coming to full realization yet tastefully indistinct, it’s a musical narrative for the astute connoisseur, delivering a profound emotional message before smoothly transitioning into a groovy finale. 

Rounding out the EP is the equally stunning ‘Polaroid’. In crafting a smooth rolling groove, the Argentinean trio have fashioned a strong foundation, complemented with hypnotic pulses and percussive drive. Charming in design and emotive in delivery, harmonic phrases slowly engulf the framework, carrying the piece into joyous second act. As the bassline melts down, melodic motifs converge, opening up for moments of exuberant warmth and hopeful reflection, before a pulsating final act unites rhythm and groove for devastating dance floor dynamics.  It caps off a hugely successful collaborative project from three of Argentina’s most highly touted artists. A meeting of music minds where the end result further cements Replug’s ethos of delivering unique and exciting projects.

"Few producers can match the meteoric rise of Kastis Torrau and as the Lithuanian producer returns to Proton Music, "Route 88" opens up with remixes from Belarusian and Dutch stars.

An artist with a 24-carat reputation plus skills and technique to match, Kastis Torrau has been at the cutting edge of underground dance music since he burst onto the scene with Donatello and Arnas D in 2011 – triumphant in the Sasha remix competition for "Cut Me Down". A subsequent appearance on Last Night On Earth rubber-stamped Torrau's global status as 'rising star', while a string of productions found their way on to Einmusika, Hope Recordings and Black Hole. A regular on Proton Music since August 2014, "Genesis" in collaboration with fellow countryman, Donatello, saw subsequent A-list remixes from Barry Jamieson and Darin Epsilon. Now returning, "Route 88" is characterised by a typically bristling bassline that drives the track relentlessly forward, wrapped around an immaculate and crisp rhythmic shell. Sublime melodic flourishes ripple across the stereo spectrum, building in the breakdown to introduce an exquisite counterpoint phrase before rhythm and bass hit hard again in the third movement.

A true star across his Belarusian home and far beyond its borders, Dmitry Molosh has seen his career skyrocket with his performances across Europe and South America in August 2019. Seeing his music feature on such illustrious labels as Replug, Sudbeat and Plattenbank, supported by such household names as Nick Warren, Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo, he featured on Particles with both original and remix production work in 2014 and '15. Making his Proton Music debut and reinventing Kastis Torrau, the Dmitry Molosh remix opens with a chest-thumping kick before reprising the bassline so central the original. Before long, a swathe of new production material appears that introduces new melodic structures and phrases that reach their zenith at the breakdown with beautiful piano notes and sumptuous pad textures.
