This is the first release from long time running party 'Lost Control' in Manchester and Berlin and NTS resident under the same name run by Black Eyes. The label itself is our new extension of the portal from the 7th dimension. Specialising in plasma house, sub-aquatic electro and cyber techno all brought back from the year 2097. The first EP is from Texan electro legend Cygnus. We don't need to explain how good he is. We just hope you enjoy the ride of cyber soul at its deadliest. There's even a tribute track to city of Manchester where Lost Control was birthed. The vinyl colour is inspired by the by acid blood of the xenomorphs from the Alien movies, meaning it's translucent fluorescent yellow. "They mostly come at night...mostly!" The record is also mastered by Dutch synth genius Rude 66.

Cygnus - Come On Let's Get It EP(clips)

For this month's Intergalactic Rhythms, we will broadcast live from the Sleeve++ record store in Leipzig, where Clear Memory will showcase their signature all-things-electro sound in a special 3 hour takeover with crew members Milium and Rekorder.
The label is well known far beyond the borders of Germany and not only since their latest release from January 2021 - which hits diggers hard with “Speedy Beats, High Energy - Electro deeply saturated with rap samples and breaks”, as they describe the sound of CLEAR005.
We are very happy to have these guys with us for the next episode!

"Pure energy shines through our latest compilation, where all producers gathered together for a good cause. Lockdowns and social distancing practices are slowly easing up in the luckier half of the world, yet local producers and clubs are still facing a hard ongoing period of no live shows with a non-existing club culture. As a result, web-based platforms are more important than ever.

The Lahmacun community radio is an integral part of our Budapest scene, as they provide a remarkable online platform not only to musicians and DJs, but to local broadcasters, hosts and music enthusiasts alike. Keeping up the spirit, Lahmacun radio is eager to promote and celebrate music from the local Hungarian scene and from passionate labels, collectives and communities, be it anywhere in the world.

This 20-track fundraising compilation is therefore dedicated to Lahmacun radio. It is presented by 10 local and 10 international producers, hailing from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Greece and Israel. London based collective Natural Selection mark 10 years since their inception with the launch of their label, kicking things off with this exquisitely curated 23-track VA compilation. NS001 brings together some of the most respected names in techno and electro, including The Advent, Jeroen Search, Kamikaze Space Programme, Somatic Responses, Versalife aka Conforce, Annie Hall, Operator, DJ Skull & more. Every artist on the compilation has played an important role, or had a connection, in one way or another, to the label / collective over their colossal 10 year journey.

Natural Selection are well known for bridging the heavier spectrum of techno, electro and acid sounds with new, experimental style and form. You can always expect the most cutting-edge, hard-hitting, underground electronics at Natural Selection events, which have gained notoriety for daring lineups and extreme diversity in sound. It’s clear to see that this ethos remains uncompromised for their logical extension into a record label.

Natural Selection will celebrate 10 years and the label launch on 6th November at FOLD with an 18 hour long, extended event featuring The Fear Ratio, The Advent, Kamikaze Space Programme and more.

The party is also in aid of Mind - Natural Selection will be donating 100% of their profits from the event to the mental health charity.

Pete Rann makes a welcome return with a four track EP entitled 'Clockwork' containing a myriad of genres and unreleased material utilising his trademark synth work and arrangements.

'Spray Can Orchestra' is a mid-tempo breakbeat workout with a nod to the golden age of Hip-Hop and Graffiti. 'Cosmic Code' is a remix of an unreleased deep-house track from almost twenty years ago. 'Mind Control' is a remix of a previously unreleased downtempo track from the late nineties and the EP title track 'Clockwork' is one for the atmospheric drum and bass fans. Written in early 2000, it briefly appeared on a limited edition digital compilation but has never been officially released.
