@ombrar1 is a French and British young producer formed as a Sound engineer. He is driven by sound even more than music itself which has shaped a lot the way he produces music. Always on the move, his style became harder over the years, continuing his path towards a more violent and rough sound.
Passionate by all the different sound techniques and tools, whether it’s with analog gears or digital ones he keeps experimenting all the time, and his interest for Field recordings, gives to his music a certain texture that is easily identified. Ombrar had the opportunity to play in several clubs with the Ultracks Records agency.
His ever increasing experience in the Sound domain has enabled him to work on different projects such as Cinema, Radio and even Audio Books. He also spends a lot of time working on his label Black Silhouette with his brother.
Deeply inspired by the eeriness and unknown of this world, he is always searching for atmospheres that will define his path.

LABURNŪM starts its EP series with what seems to be in the continuity of French producer OMBRAR’s path toward experimentation combined with a rough and hard-driving techno sound. You may find noisy guitar sounds recorded for each track, a broken piano, the relentless presence of field recordings of all sorts and some sharp modular sounds as well. On the flip side, London producers Burden and Cathédral served two powerful remixes, both club-oriented and as granular as the originals. It looks like this EP will have many layers to discover and rediscover to explore the eeriness of this world.

Standards & Practices return with their second release this year, following the release of Krohn/Mjolsness’s superb Drummer EP.

The first proper Stave release since 2021’s collaboration with Karim Maas on UVB-76, Godless, Saints No Drum is a concise and definitive artistic statement from Jonathan Krohn that encompasses everything that made his previous releases so captivating, while taking the sound in exciting new directions.

Drum 1–4 display a level of refinement and restraint rarely heard in modern electronic music, and there’s a sustained atmosphere of brooding, simmering tension that’s simultaneously meditative and menacing.

The interstitial tracks here—Fred S, Krohn/Schneider, Squared Off, and the title track—lend texture, depth, and nuance to a release that adds to up to much more than the sum of its parts.

El artefacto ​Onirógeno ​es capaz de inducir al sueño. Sirve de puerta de enlace al mundo onírico y está presente en un estado de semi-consciencia. Dicho artefacto esférico, de naturaleza cromada, reproduce de manera cíclica el proceso de encendido de la máquina de sueños por un operador en un espacio ilusorio. El ingeniero sucumbe a un estado aletargado que permite el vínculo con otros artefactos al ser testigo de una de estas reproducciones.
