¡La 117ª entrega de nuestra serie nos llega desde Italia, de la mano de Pyramidal Decode!

Pyramidal Decode puede ser sinónimo de oscuridad o hipnotismo, pero también lo es de creación, creatividad y constancia. Hay personas que nacen para algo, y Francesco DeMarzo claramente nació para hacer música.

Ya hacía años que Francesco hacía música bajo otro alias, pero fue en 2017 cuando Pyramidal Decode salió a la luz, despegando y lanzando sus primeros trabajos en sellos como Subsist records, DeadCert rec, Labrynth, Parabola records y muchos otros.

Siguiendo una línea clara y fija, los últimos años han sido de gran evolución para el artista italiano, pues en febrero de 2022 lanzó un álbum compuesto por 10 pistas en Axis Recordings de Jeff Mills, llamado “Cosmic Paradox”. También confirmó su presencia en Dynamic Reflection de Abstract Division, lanzando su segundo EP en solitario "Dysfunction System”. A finales de año remató su décimo año de producción con “Logical Inference” en Warm Up de Oscar Mulero, un EP en solitario compuesto por 7 tracks. 

En los últimos años, Francesco ha tenido la oportunidad de actuar en diferentes países europeos como Bulgaria, Holanda, Italia, Alemania o España, llevando su sonido a las cabinas de clubs como Cassette Club, Melkweg, Club Gordo, Mensch Meier y más. 

El productor nos regala un set que progresa entre atmósferas, texturas gruesas y sonidos tenebrosos, tan rítmico como hipnótico, tan profundo como punzante. ¡Pyramidal Decode en estado puro!

17th on our mix series is by, Amsterdam based musician, ARGIE. We have come across him through mutual circles and quickly fell in love with his sound. His nonsense approach to techno results in a hypnotic sensation that demands dancing. The way he strips down techno to its core resonates with our Eindstation sound. 

His performances are live and hybrid, layering deep grooves with percussive rhythms and large. His productions are characterized by its enigmatic quality and deep percussive rhythms. In 2022 he established his residency with YPNOTIKA, sharing his music as part of an underground community movement.

Having cut his teeth in the tougher fringes of the electronic gameʼs spectrum under a flurry of aliases in the past, Miro Pajic went on to write new material in the guise of MSDMNR in more recent years, releasing a handful of satisfyingly sturdy but hyper dynamic releases via his eponymous imprint, eventually taking his inimitable jagged and reverb-soaked signature to 30D Records in 2020 with the streamlined ʻEmergencyʼ EP followed by releases on HAYES, MindTrip, Jonas Kopp's TREMSIX, Kaiser's KSR and Illegal Alien Records. Miroʼs music dwells the grey zone between ruff and bleepy rave material and further deep-diving excursions. If heʼs taken his place amongst the most dextrous groove manipulators out there, no doubt the reason lies in his inimitable flair for crafting pieces and moments as effortlessly immersive as they remain proof against time-erodible trends and ephemeral tendencies.

Based in Stockholm/Sweden, Lakej [ Lákeɪ ] emerges from a long heritage of Swedish techno. After many years of explorations to refine his sound, he debuted on Adriana Lopez label Grey Report with the solo EP Structural Cohesion. This debut presented a theme that would guide not only his sound but also his concepts and titles to this current date resulting in his own label and artistic platform: Solitär.With a huge love for details and rhythmic structures his music has evolved into an introspective, futuristic and yet timeless sound. With intricate textures, atmospheres and deep driving rhythms his music is constantly pushing forward contributing to the current modern underground techno scene.Since the debut his output has been steady on well established labels such as Semantica, NON series, Faut Section, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Soma and Kazerne (Mord).

Tony Scott has been producing electronic music since the early nineties under various pseudonyms, He established the Edit Select project, as well as its eponymous label, in 2007, focusing on atmospheric yet stripped-down, back-to-basics techno tracks for club use. Several 12″s appeared, including releases on labels like Ostgut Ton and Figure, as well as remixes for the likes of Speedy J, Chris Liebing, and VCMG. Edit Select’s debut full-length, Phlox, appeared on the German label Prologue in 2014. During the same year, the artist released an edit of Teste’s classic 1992 track “The Wipe.” Collaborations with Dino Sabatini and Mike Parker followed, as well as singles on CLR, Dreiklang and Semantica. In 2016, Edit Select and Antonio Ruscito released the deep, spacy collaborative LP Visitors – Projections. The following year, Edit Select’s The Bridge EP was released by Soma Records, which had previously been home to the majority of Scott’s earlier work under the name Percy X, including three full-lengths and nearly two dozen singles. Shortly following 2018’s Horizon EP, the label released the full-length Cyclical Undulations, easily the most expansive, accomplished Edit Select work to date.
