Attending Shambhala as my first ever music festival in 2012 was such a pivotal moment in my life - helping me find my path and be comfortable dancing down it. At the time I didn't even know I'd ever even want to be a DJ. You could say I was just a.... civilian. 

Playing the festival on my favourite stage 10 years later was a very mind-blowing full circle moment, and it means a lot to me to put this recording out there. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I did making and playing it.

Thank you to everyone who filled up the dance floor, all the artists who's music is featured in the mix, all the people who made the event happen, and everyone who wanted to but couldn't be there - for whatever reason.

I'm happy to share my Coma Dose Sunrise Set from Deep Roots Festival last month. Had an awesome time at my first Deep Roots, connected with some great artists and heard some of the best bass music a guy could ask for.

This is my second live Coma Dose festival sunrise set and it's been a real treat getting to take this project to the bass bins after so many years. I tried to keep it mostly fresh with a few classics from the previous mixes and just enough energy to keep everyone vibing into the morning 🌞 Hope y'all enjoy these beats on your next festival road trip! 🤘

Westwood Radio 035 - Late Night Radio

Lotus has crafted a unique musical style outside of simple genre limitations. On a given weekend the band could be the only group with guitars at an all electronic music festival and then the next night crash a traditional rock festival with their dance heavy beats, synths and samples. Equal parts instrumental post-rock and electronic dance, the band's distinguishing feature is the ability to maintain a decidedly unique musical voice and remain current while bucking passing trends.

No matter what the venue, the energetic joy and catharsis of a Lotus show is infectious. The band slowly built a devoted fan base through steady touring and the crowds have grown at an increasing pace. This grassroots growth has made the band in high demand for festivals including Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Ultra, and Rothbury and earned the band sold out shows at the country's premier theatres and clubs.
