This is a tribute mix to one of the most talented, kind, and lovely people I know. I have been a fan of Norm's work since I first became interested in "ambient" music, falling in love with the Pavilion LP the moment I heard it. His music has given me so much joy, solace, and inspiration ever since. 
His passing has left a giant hole inside me and for the past two days I haven't done much else other than listen to his music. This mix features some (but not all) of my favorite pieces by Norm.
I never had the pleasure to meet Norm in person, but it was an honor to work with him on several occasions at Muzan.
Norm, wherever you are - perhaps floating on some galactic current in a space-faring bathysphere - I miss you so much. Thank you for everything.

A Tribute To Panabrite / N Chambers / Jürgen Müller

This month’s Bright Patterns is a special tribute to Norm Chambers, who sadly passed away in November from a rare form of sinus cancer. Norm released a prolific amount of material under his own name and several other monikers over the years, such as Panabrite, Jürgen Müller, and Spiral Index. Following a two-hour tribute for 2021’s No Way Back comprised entirely of Norm’s music, this edition of Panabrite Patterns features four talented artists who connected deeply with the unique world imagined within his productions. William Selman presents a mix of selections they shared as favorites. Joshua Davison created six original tracks with Norm’s sonic pathways in mind. Matthew Patterson Curry crafted an extensive soundscape inspired by the simplicity and freedom of Norm’s rich output. The final portion is a hybrid mix from Jonas Reinhardt, who released the first edition of “The Encyclopedia of Civilizations” with Norm under his Jürgen Müller alias.

Live Inna Ghostworld I

Its time for Onyro, a project based in Madrid inspired by the Japanese traditional culture, dedicated to the experimentation and fusion of different styles of avant-garde electronic music. This show was recorded live some weeks ago during the Onyro pre- Party with Forest on Stasys as guest. The first part of the show is driven by the talented Sciama who introduces us into obscure territories. After the Scottish artist, Camu takes over with his mix of ambient and contemporanean electronics. The closing part is fot the argentinian artist, Forest On Stasys, who delivers a wonderful classic ambient piece.

All sets were recorded live at Espacio Perpendicular.

Angel, beamed to earth upon a golden ray

Heaven’s bird, flew down and landed with a broken wing
We hear the message that she brings, itʻs in her song

Love All Day is pleased to present Facets, our third collaboration with renowned contemporary electronic composer, Norm Chambers (Panabrite, Jürgen Müller). As the title implies, it’s a many-dimensional work, and one born from a time of
crisis in Chambers’ life. Created in the spring of 2019 while experiencing health issues that were ultimately diagnosed as being a rare form of sinus cancer, Facets reveals Chambers efforts to push himself to places he hadn’t gone before ----to try to rid himself of old habits & embrace potentially unsuccessful creative attempts, whatever the result. Faced with a sense of urgency & riding a creative wave, the tracks came together quickly as he explored new creative vistas ---his familiar, bucolic landscapes now occasionally interrupted by craggy rhythms and aural horizons that fluctuate like air on desert sand. Concerned that these works would be his final statement, he quickly released them digitally as he awaited surgery & chemotherapy to treat his illness. After his near brush with death & subsequent recovery, we’re extremely grateful to have the opportunity to re-present this singular work by one of our favorite artists with deliberate intention and care as a long playing album.
