I made this song using my very old guitar, a 4 track tape recorder, and the ambient night. Guitar and vocals were both mixed dry for extra rawness.

I made this song using an Akai XR20 and a midi controller. I like a lot of old school drum n bass, so this is like a tribute to that old sound.

“I was a wanderer on a prehistoric earth, of an earth that wore the aspect of an unknown planet. Going up that river was like traveling back to the earliest beginnings of the world, when vegetation rioted and the big trees were kings. An empty stream, a great silence, an impenetrable jungle. The air was warm, thick, heavy, sluggish. The long stretches of the waterway ran on, deserted, into the gloom of overshadowed distances…and this stillness of life did not in the least resemble a peace. It was the stillness of an implacable force brooding over an inscrutable intention. It looked at you with a vengeful aspect. As I slowly penetrated ever so deeper into this heart of darkness my soul was set ablaze with an infinity of wonders that I discovered…”
