Continuing with the winter takeover of our podcast, we welcome two names who have become synonymous with Café Mambo and the island of Ibiza - live sax and DJ duo Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago. 

Their high energy performances with us on the sunset strip have attracted thousands of music lovers in recent years, with their sets always guaranteeing a sea of raised hands and smiles. Moreover, videos of Laura’s incredible live jamming along to classic Ibiza anthems have attracted many more hundreds of thousands of views across social media, thus making her one of the world’s most in demand saxophonists. 

Taking over the controls for us this month, they’ve delivered a mix of real musical treats, taking a slightly more eclectic approach than their typical live shows. 
From the moment they open with the classic Mambo sunset tune ‘Paris’ by Groove Armada, you’ll instantly be transported to a much warmer, sunnier place, dreaming of those long summer evenings to come, perhaps with a strawberry daiquiri in hand.

After main stage performances at super venues and festivals such as Tomorrowland, Café Mambo, Ministry of Sound, Ibiza Rocks, Creamfields & Pacha , Laura’s star prowess still continues to rise.
Regularly performing with the Ulster Orchestra at Lush Classical to a 10,000 strong crowd in Belfast arena, and sell out performances wherever she goes, Lovely Laura continues to be one of the worlds most in demand saxophonists.
Alongside her DJ husband Ben Santiago, they have become one of dance music’s revered and most loved duos. With residencies under their belt for some of the biggest clubbing brands in the world, the husband & wife combined talent has proven to be a compelling union with them always delivering a world class show.
2022 will see the dynamic duo returning once again to Ibiza Rocks for their bi-weekly residency, alongside some surprise performances at Café Mambo PLUS regularly flying back to perform at numerous festivals & clubs in the UK.
This coupled with some exciting studio projects and new tracks planned for release, it looks to be another busy and productive year ahead for Lovely Laura.
