This track got an up-beat and weird vibe with a melancholic note. Lyrically, BLURRY is OLDPEOPLEs newest approach to tackle social anxieties by saying not the others are the crazy ones but I am. It was written in an attempt to reflect on ones own behaviour in certain situations and how it could be received by others. Smile back when you get smiled at and stop thinking your counterpart meant something weird. Leave the hood off when scared, your look could make others feel bad.

OLDPEOPLE is a constant struggle. The desire to please people meets the rejection of the mainstream. Driving rhythms and catchy melodies challenged by demanding lyrics and detuned sound spheres. 
Analog drums, amp feedback and some honest little fuck-ups make it to what it is. Lo-fi indie, post punk, new wave, bedroom ... in the end its all pop anyway.
