Kobe Dupree is a DJ and producer based in Chicago who founded the Low Visibility Presents party series in 2022. With a focus on providing high quality sound, dark environments and liminal lighting, his sound holds true to his deep and exploratory roots. Shanti is a Chicago-based DJ who explores philosophical themes of existential angst and ambiguity through surreal, foreboding, apocalyptic techno, angsty EBM, and squishy acid soundscapes. Her sets weave a story of the simultaneous despair and yearning that are intertwined with the human condition. 

Shanti also hosts a monthly radio show "Liminal Radio" on WIIT 88.9FM second Mondays, 1-3pm CST.

She is a member of Research & Development, "a music event/mix series focused on nurturing new sounds, experiences and atmospheres while exploring the music and culture it was born or mutated from."

As a member of Evanti, a DJ collective comprised of Shanti and Evan (Scum.ee), they host Otherworldly Ambiguity, an experience centered around the phenomenon of liminality, occupying the spaces in between and outside of pre-existing concepts and rigid categories.

Low Visibility came out of the fog in Chicago as a celebration of shared experiences in the underground. With this mix series we are highlighting artists that have an enduring contribution to the community and focusing on a deeper exploration of soundscapes.

Forward thinking technical aspirations coupled with an uncanny corrosive tonal quality, Colin began his journey in the rural fields and underground events of Iowa. Finding a calling in the darker, psychedelic technicalities of harder inflections of the music that mirrored his interests in punk and metal music, while delving into hypnotic and broken rhythms. Over the course of his tenure, Colin has created a name for himself as being a versatile talent that bends genre lines and expectations while focussing on precise and technical performances and production qualities. 

His releases have been played by artists such as Rebekah and Swarm Intelligence among others. This along with his unwavering focus on the underground and music also lended to him playing an integral role in the IowaTechno warehouse events and parties for over a decade. His new move to Minneapolis has pushed his focus into new veins and sound designs that have created new twists in approach which only furthers the versatile nature of his performances.
