After the huge impact of 'Highland' we welcome back Argentinian wunderkind Eze Ramirez for our latest output.

Radikon No. 67 opens with a tight 16th note sub frequency thunderstorm, interrupted by synthesized metallic shockswells. 'Dark Waves' is fueled by a variety of hypnotic melody stoicisms twirling around an on point repetitive beat pedestal.

The subsequent 'Celestial' follows in matching footsteps while adding spherical films of melodramatic voice fragments, which resemble the epic and timeless soundtrack works for eminent Sci-Fi masterpieces ranging from 'Ghost in the Shell' to 'Halo'. Meanwhile LFO tweaked Leads serve as the anchors in the wavy sea of modern-day techno productions.

The round up of this tasteful chef recommended menu comes in the form of 'Acid Lead', an uncompromising ode to the dance floor. Classic rave proven drum patterns fusion with a flourishing interplay between punching subs and hooky highs.

Øostil is back at Renaissance…

This time we find him celebrating his Argenitne roots as he joins forces with Rêverie and Paula OS, who also hail from the South American hotbed. “I am on the road all the time these days,” says Antü, the man behind the Øostil alter-ego, “and I keep hearing all this amazing music, which is exactly how ‘Missing Robot was conceived. It’s no secret Argentina has a vibrant scene (not that I’m biased!), loaded with talent, but the Rêverie guys really impressed me, which is why I wanted to work together. It’s fun to collaborate with emerging talent; in my experience it leads to extremely exciting music.”

True to his word, the resulting track did begin life as an exciting experiment, “We produced it by kicking the digital football back and forth so I could work on it in amongst my touring, but then – once completed - weren’t sure what to do with it!”, he continues, laughing, “It turned out to be an emotive slice of electronica with a real sense of melancholy, the perfect prop for Paula’s beautiful vocal. But it certainly isn’t what you’d call a ‘peak time’ record, though does have sunset and sunrise written all over!”

After much persuading and arm-twisting on the part of Renaissance, who fell in love with ‘Missing Robot’, the team finally agreed to release it as a single and, just like that, the hunt was on for a remixer. “We all knew we had to get this right. We didn’t want to hand the track to just anyone. It had to be an artist who could convert it to 4/4 and drive toward peak time - no easy task!” says Antü.

Step forward Rodriguez Jr., who returns to Renaissance after a stellar live performance at Zamna’s April Edition and, label wise, his remix of Argy’s ‘Power Of Detachment’. Much like that reinterpretation, he delivers summer on a dancefloor. His ‘Missing Robot’ soars, taking Paula’s vocal to greater, goosebump heights.

“I’ve been closely following Øostil for the past five years as he’s been putting out a constant flow of flawless productions. He’s one of the most promising music producers of his generation. So, I was extremely excited to take on Missing Robot, which he produced with Rêverie and Paula OS, and accepted the challenging mission to turn it to a 4/4. The original is such a beautiful piece of art. My intention was to focus on original vocals and chords and emphasize the core emotion as much as possible.” – Rodriguez Jr.

Several Definitions demonstrate his prowess in the electronic music scene once again with his debut on Future Romance called "This Is Not a Rave." Accompanied by a remarkable remix from the talented artist Tantum, this release delivers an electrifying experience that oscillates between a euphoric melodic techno rave hymn and a stripped-down, yet highly effective dancefloor track. 

The original mix sets the tone from the very beginning with its enchanting melodic layers that effortlessly transport the listener into a world of sonic wonder. Lucas Rossi's 'Sonora' has been one of our most sought after releases this year after Nick Warren started playing it regularly in his shows and Hernan Cattaneo played it on his radio show. We are really happy to finally release this progressive house gem to the world!

For the release we also secured two great remixes, the first from Milos Ilic who takes the track into deeper and moodier territory while Forniva brings out the techier side, rounding off the release perfectly.

Whoever shed some tears while listening to emotional music can relate to what Marc is trying to achieve. It has to be “music to remember” and make a big impact. And that could be a melody, a baseline, steady percussion or strong vocals. Marc has already connected a lot of that love with his music. In more than a decade represented by the strongest labels (150+ releases) and performing on the biggest international stages, Marc has established as a unique producer and DJ.

After releases and remixes on Noir Music, Traum Schallplatten, Definition:Music, Katermukke, Selador – just to name a few – Marc is currently working on his second artist album which will be released in 2017 on his homebase label Einmusika Recordings.

According to his own productions, Marc is running the rising label JEAHMON! Records and opened another platform for the artists origins. “How I Met The Bass” is a storyteller podcast project which became a big brand yet.
