Sicilian born Roxmaker is a young and respected DJ/Producer of Electro and Techno House Music. He has played across Italy / South England and collaborated with superstars such as Alex Gaudino, Martina Kaiser, Vincenzo Callea and Richard Grey.

Roxmaker started his DJ career in Sicily at just 15 years old! Despite Roxmaker being younger than the legal age to enter clubs he was still paid to perform sets and able to make his mark on the electro house scene. 

Roxmaker hit 18 and decided to focus his attentions on producing. Thanks to Alex Gaudino he released his first vinyl in 2006 achieving worldwide reach. Since then his sound has been sought after by numerous established labels from all over the world such as 
Harthouse, Rise (Time Rec), Ego and White 25. Roxmaker has worked on remixes for Anderson Noise and Roxmaker’s productions have even been remixed by Ibiza's Richard Grey of Subliminal, Vincenzo Callea (White25) and by Era Vulgaris and Davide Bomben (Matrix Club).

Roxmaker's latest worldwide (vinyl-digital) production 'Seduce me' with Martina Kaiser is currently gaining international recognition, it's also on the DMC Miami chart of the top 40 hottiest Miami's tracks.

Regarded upon his 2006 arrival as a promising beatmaker looming in the shadows of J Dilla, Madlib, waterfalls and Dabrye, Steven Ellison -- known as Flying Lotus -- nullified all comparisons only two years later with Los Angeles. On that album, his first of five for the Warp label, Ellison distilled a uniquely crisp, spasmodic, and heady sound with elements of hip-hop, avant-garde jazz, IDM, and dubstep. While the abovementioned producers fueled Ellison, he had also been excited as a youngster by the '90s West Coast rap classics that combined programming and live instrumentation. His sound continued to develop as he put his own twist on the approach, recording with a crop of jazz musicians including the indispensable likes of bassist Thundercat and strings master Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. This process began with the turbulent 2010 set Cosmogramma and peaked in terms of acclaim in 2014 with You're Dead!, which crashed the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 and spawned the Kendrick Lamar collaboration "Never Catch Me," a Grammy nominee for Best Dance Recording. Ellison devoted a few years to various forms of film work and the operation of his revered Brainfeeder label, and returned in 2019 with Flamagra, his second consecutive album to top Billboard's Dance/Electronic chart.

My quest is the unspoken, the timeless tacit phrases, the inherent and the inherited.

I am collecting the eternal dust of passed days and the imprints of wayfarers, rambling through the age-old deserts of inner search.

Gathering the resounding tunes of the parched wadis, where the ancient creeks with their greenery are now latent, and the remote landscapes where the rivers were once filled with rejoicing swimmers.

Picking the archetypal sprouting nomadic tones like dormant blossoms beneath sand and rocks.

Seeking out the caves of the ascetic minimal, the simplistic modal, the vibrant and sober longing and ecstasy, still resonant with the songs of our spinal flute.

Pursuing the archaic value of every individual note, the microtonal fragments and the spaces of silence roaming in-between.

I'm an autodidact, having no formal education or knowledge of music theory.

Born in Sweden, I've spent most of my life on the road throughout the orient and India.
As a hindu monk I hitchhiked between Sweden and India - crossing the Orient by all sorts of vehicles ranging from dromedary carts to lorries - whenever I needed to travel during those eleven years.
Though mainly I was rambling around India.
Anyhow, the Orient has made some impressions in my mind.

Never had a camera back then.
Never wrote any music.
All my impressions just piled up.
Now I'm tapping a few humble drops out of the barrel...
