Back beat created with Duo-Bop drum module and M401 Multimode Filter Resonator.

Poppy snare sound is pink noise from Q110 Noise module into M401.  The output of EG triggering the beat is attenuated and fed back to the CV Q input of the M401.

Filter settings are as pictured

No other effects are used to obtain that hollow, reverb-like effect..

M401 Pop Snare

Very basic test of a Moogah (Jeff Farr) SEM VCF.  This Oberheim work-alike is an excellent add-in for any MU format Modular Synthesizer.

The test was done using a Synthesizers.com Q106 VCO.  The Square Wave output was used, set at 16' and tuned to C2.  The Pulse Width knob was set to 5.

There are 4 samples in this file;  Low Pass, Band Pass, High Pass and Variable.  These are each of the outputs on the VCF.  The Resonance knob was set to the 3:00 position.  In terms of zero to ten (the panel has no numeric labeling) Frequency was swept from position 5 to 10 to 0 and back to 5.  For the Variable Output Control I started with the 12:00 position then repeated the tests at the 3:00 and 9:00 positions.

Pot Problem

Mainly using the OB6 for all sounds except doubling the bell lead with the flute sound from the System 8 (Jupiter 8 Lunar Breeze) at the end and the formant sound with the Waveaura patch on the JX8P.
The OB6 is so great sounding. It is hard not to use it for everything and I have to refrain from overuse. The other ingredient in this piece is the Klark Teknik 3rd Dimension BBD-320. A clone of the Roland Dimension chorus.
