Where did you record this mix and what did you have in mind while recording it?
"Recorded this mix at home after a long day at work. What I miss the most is small, dark & sweaty club. With that in mind I have tried to make a compilation of tracks which would fit to a trippy club-night. "

How would you describe your sound in general?
"Warm lush sounds."

What are you looking forward to the most this year?
"Being able to dance again in a club:)"

We dig into the LTEC archives for an exceptional mix recorded live from our 2018 event. Mike Callander is not only one of our favourite artists, but he is also one of Melbourne’s finest and most versatile  DJs. When he is not working with The Avalanches or producing as Zero Percent with fellow producer Kim Moyes (The Presets), he is educating the next generation of producers through the School of Synthesis, an educational facility that offers high-end hands-on training to music producers and DJs. In short: Mike Callander is a local legend who lives and breathes dance music. In 2018 he played on the Cake main stage before Âme, delivering a laser sharp-set that went down as one of the day’s best performances.
