Made up of husband and wife duo Australian singer/songwriter Kate Elsworth and French DJ/producer Nicolas Blistène, Lunar Disco has appeared on the likes of Defected and Kindisch. The charismatic and glamorous pair recently launched their 1980s inspired Suck My Disco imprint, with the first release, ‘It’s About Time’, landing in late 2021, and follow-up ‘Telephone Rose’ picking up heavy support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong.

Now dropping their latest single, ‘Sex, Drugs, Money and Lies’, Lunar Disco recruit Berlin’s Niconé and Morocco’s Amine K for a pair of remixes alongside the original. Leading the release, the ‘Original Mix’ sees lush synth licks, subtle basslines, and reverberated vocals together for a funky, groove-led excursion. DANTZE label-head Niconé delivers the first remix, reaching for pumping drums and blissful pads, followed by Amine K’s smooth interpretation, making full use of soft, swinging percussion and dubbed-out chords.

Ravanelli Disco Club is a disco house label based in Marseille that was established 2019. Over its three short years they have worked with key artists including Ron Basejam, Jimpster, JKriv, Cody Currie, Retromigration, Joe Corti, and Scruscru, with releases in the wings by Prins Thomas and Pete Herbert.

Next up on Ravanelli Disco Club comes slick French duo Palavas who hail from the sun-drenched coast of the South of France, somewhere between Montpellier and Marseille. Named after the Palavas resort - that was once the splendid queen of Mediterranean sandy beaches - the AZZUR Records founders are the epitome of the French dolce vita!
