My name is Luccas Cavalcante dos Santos. I am a business owner, teacher, father, husband, and servant of Jesus Christ. 

One day, while putting my one-year-old daughter to sleep, I had the idea of being able to listen to the word of God during repetitive tasks. 

Whether stuck in traffic, washing dishes, going for a walk, or working out, it would be wonderful to hear God's word. 

While there are many options available, I believe that hearing the word from a person you can see and know has a different impact. 

I have read the Bible before, but each time I go back to it, I discover something new. God's word is alive, and I want to listen to it every day, meditating on it as He commands. 

This project aims to read the entire Bible and share His word with others. May you find peace and salvation. 

I pray that Jesus blesses you as much as He has blessed me.

Let there be light! - Genesis Chapter 1

In our second video of the series we learn why God created Man and Woman...Genesis Chapter 2. In this chapter we see God's true intention for mankind. He wants to have a relationship with man and share His authority over creation. These first two chapters really cement God's true design and plan. Everything he mad was "Good". As we will see in the coming chapters, it is Mankind who hides from God and disobeys a direct command and bringing disorder into the all creation.

Life in God’s Garden - Genesis Chapter 2

In our third video of the series I want to bring your attention to something I only really noticed after making this video...Genesis Chapter 3. After God made Man and Woman and put them in the Garden of Eden, He gave them all the trees of the garden to eat as food. The bible clearly says that in the midst of the garden was the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God only forbade them from eating one tree, the tree of good and evil. My question then arises, why then did they not eat of the tree of  life? I mean it was there, and God allowed them to eat of it. We see at the end of the chapter after they had eaten of the forbidden tree that God protects the tree of life. In other words, they could have eaten it all along but chose not to. This brings us to realization that it was not only the serpent that deceived them but also their lack of interest or understanding of life. God wants us to eat of the tree of life, that's why He calls us to choose life and not darkness. True Life is understanding and submitting to His will and not to the knowledge. 

"Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city." - Revelation 22:14 NKJV

Why didn't Adam choose the tree of life? - Genesis Chatper 3

In our fourth video of the series we see another example of choosing to obey God or to follow sin. Cain was warned to not give in to sin but he chose to kill his brother instead. As we read the first chapters of the bible, we begin to understand that man made a series of wrong choices and thus was cursed as a result. Nevertheless, God never stopped trying to save mankind. 

"Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city." - Revelation 22:14 NKJV
