With fabric 72, rhadoo follows his Romanian compatriot and [a:rpia:r] cohort Petre Inspirescu onto the fabric mix series, with an intoxicating, atmospheric aural excursion. The vast majority of the tracks are unreleased and unheard before this project, representing a new and burgeoning scene in Eastern Europe. Letting the music do the talking as usual,  rhadoo has personally selected 4 tracks from the mix to press exclusively to a pair of limited edition vinyl 10”s.

On the first disc, Adrian Niculae’s mechanical ‘conTRASt’ juxtaposes nagging metallic sounds with a rumbling low end, whilst on the reverse Yourayo’s more organic ‘Blueprint’ features warm synths, a melancholic piano refrain and a rounded bassline.

The second sampler sees ‘Fast Lane 4’ by Traian Chereches live up to its name, the clever weaving of elements maintaining urgency throughout, and Vlad Caia’s ‘Ticktockclockityclock’ closes out the selection with a suitably metronomic groove.

All tracks are exclusive to this pair of vinyl 10”s, which are strictly limited to 300 copies each, and the fabric 72 release. The fifth release on Concealed Sounds is delivered by a very talented artist known as, Lowris. He is a resident DJ at the leading and much respected French underground party called Concrete in Paris as well as releasing critically acclaimed released on his Aeternum label. For Concealed he offers two original tracks, starting off with “AAA” which is a long stripped down hyptonic journey thru sound and rhythm. The second track being, “Btass”, which is a more minimalistic house groover. As a treate we invited no other then our favorite Danish producer S.A.M to rework the title track. S.A.M goes very deep on this one and transforms “AAA” into a moody house affair that will suit the after hour very well.

Hamburg based producer Hatzler’s EP is crafted to keep the dancefloor moving, with two original tracks and two remixes. ‘SkyT’ unfolds with a rolling groove that ascends abruptly into a throbbing, trance-inducing piece peppered with cavernous synth pads. ‘KreaT’ lays down hard hitting thumps from the get-go, doling out an undulating synth with whirring atmospherics. It’s these whirs that end up combining harmoniously with the swirling synth hook, leading to a highly anticipated peak time release. For his ‘SkyT’ remix, Sian amps up the theatrics, giving the track a dramatic dimension by infusing it with spacious reverb. Where Sian went down a more theatrical avenue, Ruiz plays down the emotion.  Victor Ruiz’ take on ‘SkyT’ is a more stripped down approach, minimizing the elements and keeping the focus on the rolling bassline.

In 2009, the Klartraum pairing of Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch initiated with the All Dimensions EP what would become the first of 100 releases on Lucidflow. Originally set up to retain creative and logistical control for their work together and as solo entities, Ludicflow broadened out to encompass friends - both long time and those spontaneous encounters from their worldwide journeys. Since then, they have released digitally, moved into the realm of the physical via CD before recently joining in on the vinyl revolution with eight pieces of Lucidflow hitting wax. 

Now the grand LF100 catalogue number falls to production machine Nadja herself (have no fear, Helmut also makes a showing) with Vagus. At first the track seems restrained for the big 100th blowout. This all changes at the first break. A helicopter whirr 303 drifts in before demented staccato stabs finger jab at you from all angles. Fun and growling. 

Even the usually silken smooth Helmut seems bitten by the bug. His remix breaks down and puts the sole focus on the demented synths, coming across like a delirious gothic fairground ride before kicking back in with its long tailed subby kicks. 

Justin Berkovi, who was recently brought into the Lucidlow family circle, ups the ante even further, aiming squarely at the dancefloor with vibrant 909 hats and classic Detroit chord stabs. Although, for the more languid amongst us, Nadja turns in an extra 'Deep' remix, full of progressive funk. The dementia is lessened but the energy is unabated. This time, with an old school kinda house vibes, Alex Boneti is back with an amazing melancholic but groovy track. Flirting back with his first love : house music, Alex Boneti proposes a very beautiful minimalistic track, perfect for a good introspective reflexion about yourself. 
The second track is a remix from Robert PlanKett, Alex Boneti’s wing man for production and music in general. 
Robert plankett totally changed the style from the original, providing a space odyssey with some long and deep pads and a vert spacey vocal, creating his own univers with his interpretation of Alex ’s feelings.
