We've got your first listen of Defrostatica's forthcoming collab release by DnB dons Kiat and Digital. From Bristol to Singapore via Defrostatica's Leipzig HQ ‘Nightingale’ debuts April 16th. The Metalheadz alumni have a history of collaborating, including Kiat doing the artwork for Digital’s MetalHeadz  ‘In The Lurch’ EP, and we find them nursing their deepest creative state to date with this release. Kindred in their commitment to the craft and refusal to compromise, it's no surprise that Kiat and Digital's newest contribution, feels rooted in authenticity giving it a soulful and timeless quality every producer searches for.  Today we are excited to premiere Digital's jungle remix of Kiat's "More than One." Digital flips the ethereal vocals and alluring horns of "More Than One" with his signature bulldozer breaks and voluminous subs, real music with real soul, this whole release is a fitting salute from two totems of the DnB world.

Champion Sound are Nikita Mironov, Igor Nesvetaev, Serge Kiselev, a sound system ensemble from Russia. The Sound of Champions is a reggae & dub, dancehall & jungle heritage reimagined in modern bass forms.

ARMADA SOUNDS is the given name to a series of compilations presented by the booking agency and record label BLDSMX. This series was founded in early 2020, with the purpose of interacting with artists who are within the international underground music scene, which are joined by a deep and universal web of soundscapes and connections. 

This project is a product generated through effort and dedication to the bass music scene, and the avant-garde electronic sounds in the constantly evolving and hybridizing rhythms of 140-170 BPMs such as Juke/Footwork, Dubstep, D&B, Jungle, Halftime, and more.
This project was born from the thirst of creators, DJs and producers Alan Flores “Vinil Motion”, Pil “Deeplinkin”, and most recent addition to the crew Felipe Jardel “Aiokai’’, with the devotion and passion for low frequencies, repetitive drums, half times and the energetic rhythms mentioned. This great collaboration within the BLDSMX team has, as a purpose, connecting with the inmost parts of listeners and producers alike, to make this deep and universal web as tangible as possible.

CGreco is one of the most promising Italian new talents, coming from the island of Sicily, in the deep south of Italy, he’s one of the most interesting producers of an Italian new wave and the testimony of the spreading of a renovated taste for drum and bass that goes throughout the whole state. He has already released for The Dreamers on the Dream Cycle Vol.2 compilation, and now it’s time for a banging 4-track EP of his own tunes.
Fine as fuck EP pushes the boundaries of the footwork jungle sounds, showing the production abilities of CGreco and his musical tastes. Keep an eye on this guy because he has a lot to say.

In his own words:
“Kodò, besides being a group of Japanese percussionists, whom I have admired since I was a child, expresses the meaning of ‘heartbeat’ because inside you will find multiple percussions at 160bpm with footwork rhythm. Fine As Fuck is the result of an excellent collaboration between the Spanish artist Malou Mørkeberg and the Sicilian CGreco. Soft pads and 808 drums with a few jungle influences will take you to dive deep in rhythm. Home a tak mixes jungle and juke with an addictive sound. Laser game a mix of sharp sounds accompanied by a ragga vocal that will bring you throughout the whole track.”

CGreco Bio:
CGRECO aka Cristian Greco is a Sicilian DJ Producer. He plays guitar and percussions since he was a child.
In 2016 he started producing electronic music with the aim of expanding his horizons and bringing his music out of his province.
He began to be part of a Ragusa crew called Freshness Urban Click, giving life to a series of club nights and radio shows. In CGRECO productions you will find his passion for bass music, you will feel all the influence footwork and Chicago juke, and the most frenetic amen breaks of jungle.
