London-based producer @Holloway-95 debuts his first 140 project on @earfulofwax, sounding fresh out the mid-naughties, expect club rattling subs in the form of stripped-back Dubstep pressure. The EP showcases an elating, garage-influenced, forward-thinking sound somehow nostalgic and yet also completely new.

‘Levitate’ kicks off with a hypnotic, heads-down mood with
deep subs and dubbed-out vocals. At the switch-up Holloway’s idiosyncratic basslines are introduced for those gun-finger, energetic
moments in the club.

Everson wheels up a new 4 track EP 'Ina Aira' on Ratface Records. Inspired by heavy raving and his early Jungle and Breaks days, this 140bpm powerhouse of an EP crosses between Breakbeat, Amens and bouncy 4x4s effortlessly, all the while holding down raw, rave, euphoric energy.

"Snakey Joe" sees Everson offer a unique interpretation of the UK's club sound, crafting breaks into twisting percussive patterns and complementing these rhythms in turn with warehouse-ready pads and fleeting vocals.

Off Beat return with their third release - a mind-bending three-tracker from label-head Ryvahl.

Kicking things off is title track ‘Protopattern' - an off-the-wall sub-bass nose and chest tickler with heavy, scattered drums that are modulated to destruction.

'Send Signal' continues in the same vein with more of the classic sound design of Ryvahl’s previous work. Swift, choppy, UK sounds combine with juke hits, drum machines and dingy reverbs to expand the stereo field into a 4D landscape.

Closing out the release is the playful 'Blacklight'. A drum tool that would appeal to fans of Pearson Sound and early Night Slugs records. Big tip!
