Beats & Culture is a YouTube channel owned by a Greek music digger promoting various styles of music such as Breaks, mashups, remix, hip hop, downbeat, jazz, swing, tropical & ethnic beats. He begun diggin beats-music back in 2008. His love in music can reach him listening reggae, dub, gypsy, klezmer and so goes on. Moreover, he is a member of the Greek-French record label called Melting Records.

Even since his debut single ”Higher” hit the Hip-Hop charts in 2017, swedish producer Phil Allans has been making different styles of ambient electronics. Not long after, he got signed by label Bentley Records (NYC) in 2018 and the following year he released his debut album “Phil Allans” on all platforms. 

The style can variate from melancholic Ambient to EDM/Lounge to Old-school Hip-Hop with known and unknown singers, or if he does the job himself.

A former BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM resident, his impact stretches far beyond the DJ booth. He’s played a key role in major hits, including the UK number one KDA’s ‘Rumble’, while also delivering cutting-edge releases on Shall Not Fade, Hot Creations, E-beamz, R&S, and Unknown to the Unknown.

With heavyweight support from Peggy Gou, Bonobo, Gerd Jansen and Carl Cox, 2025 is shaping up to be huge. His Jungle and Breakbeat-Rave inspired album drops late in the year, and we can’t wait for what’s next.
