Mousetrap is the first single release of rising vocal artist and triple threat Luci Fossil. It is about overcoming obstacles and traumatic events on your own. The song captures the pattern we all so easily fall into, of getting stuck in the the boxes and labels that friends and family place on you from a young age. Refusing to be fragile, small, and weighed down by the actions of others, the mouse in this story takes a journey upwards. Demanding more and more and more. Finding the strength in her voice, and confidence as a young women, she is finally able to open a new door all on her own.
