Leo, this is excellent stuff!  I love it!

I wrote this song for my Berklee Online final project, but it's been a song that's been in my head for the last six months. It popped in my head at Burning Man one morning. 

I played the completed song today and I actually got really emotional. This is huge for me...It's the first time I've been able to produce a song I've heard in my head.  So many years songs have flown in and out and I've never been able to actually grab one and make it real. 

I'm really thankful and grateful and SO EXCITED to keep going. There's lyrics that go with it as well, looking forward to recording those and working on the mix in the coming months.

Oh yeah, mixing :-P. LOL. That will probably be my next Berklee class ;)

I See Your Darkness

I found this remix on an old hard disk and it stopped me dead in my tracks.

I remember absolutely *HATING* this remix when we were working on it.  My bandmate Taiho and stripped down our band's first single, and I thought we stripped away too much.  Now when I hear it, I'm struck by the stark, minimalist beauty of the song.  I almost like this more than the original.

Turns out Taiho's original instinct was right.
