This marks the last single from my debut album ‘Rediscovery’ that drops on 8/13! Out Of Place is by far my favorite production I’ve ever made. This track is really personal to me as it’s my first attempt at singing and was developed when I was struggling with self-identity and was desperate for a certain girls attention. The singing is far from perfect but it’s raw, emotional, and most importantly, it’s me. I hope you guys enjoy <3

I love the vocals on this so much, really should have tried to pull all the verses but the sample I used hits the soul chords imo. Started this when the OG first dropped but I was so bad at producing DnB that I scrapped the idea. Recently I played old projects, found this & went into this direction. 2021 and another year done… omicron surging through my veins as i write this. Man, every year we ask the team to send us their tracks at Halloween and every year we’re chopping and changing moments before launch. But that’s how it’s gotta be and that’s what’s so vital about this series, now in its 12th year. This never gets more relaxed. We should probably be spending this time of year chilling out and reflecting on what’s coming over the horizon but vinyl lead times already got us making records for July. It’s like the digital and the physical world are pulling further and further apart.

We hope you love this compilation as much as we do. Thanks to the artists and everyone involved in getting this together.
