El Maestro, Hommage to Kathrin - Milestone Session Op.9 No.1

This piece is a grand, sweeping anthem born from memory, dedicated to the final journey of heroes.

We take the iconic melodies of the classic era and recast them for the cinematic age. The music begins with a solitary, Chopin-esque piano, carrying the weight of the past—a fragile memory echoing in the vast halls of a cathedral. As the melody swells, the lush symphonic strings and heroic French horns rise, representing the strength and the tragic burden of the armored figures in the silent city.

Every note is a reflection of the "weight of the vows"—the sacrifices made by the heroes and the unending duty to the world. Feel the power of the crystalline celesta with the thunderous, dramatic percussion, marking the final, epic step toward destiny. 

A journey through their struggles, their bonds and ultimately salvation from their duty- be it life... or mayhaps... even death. What does fate holds for the trio?

The Wind

My recent phase of recording real piano improvisations, continues with this piece entitled "Shadows". You may not believe me, but I literally sit down at the piano & let my fingers fall to a position on the keys. From there, I just start noodling around. Often, the first thing that happens, is the central part of the tune to come. I can't explain how this happens, but it is a real "rush" of an experience. Some musicians take drugs, smoke, drink or fornicate, but I chase this "natural high" of improvising as often as I can. Enjoy!
