Trevor Joe Lennon interviews Laura Merrill musician/ Photographer her Dad  Alan Merrill did my show many times singer  songwriter. In the early 1970's, he achieve pop star status in Japan. He was the writer of, and lead singer on, the first released version of the song "I Love Rock 'n' Roll"which was recorded by his band the Arrows in 1975. The song became a breakthrough hit for Joan Jett in 1982 .Laura's Mom Cathee Dahman  was a Ford Model, where she was one of the agency's top earners of the 1960's. Hollywood being what it is, the movie didn't get made.  I play Sarode and all of the other instruments except the Tabla whose samples I slaved over to make them obey my bidding.
