Born in São Paulo, Walter Cruz plays keyboard since 10, and he has studied both classical and popular piano. In Brasília, with a whole new world of art, he discovered electronic music and this has became a new passion. Besides producing music under his name, sometimes he releases under different stage names: Solitudage (more downtempo and electronica) and 1ø8. He also plays in the electronica trip-hop influenced band Stoyca.

I've composed and recorded a TON of original material over the years and have a vault loaded with sampled treasures I will be sharing. I am  into creating new sounds and music and exploring the capabilities of Ableton Live, Native Instruments Reaktor and Kontakt, Spectrasonics Omnisphere and all kinds of new stuff I keep running into that I can't help but experiment with. While I may have progressive rock roots with a fondness for music played live by musicians, I also enjoy a huge variety of genres including electronic music, cinematic and ambient. I create all different styles of music myself, mostly on the computer these days. I'm totally into sound design and sometimes tweaking a sound will take me in unexpected directions. I hope you like what I share!

Assim como a vegetação do cerrado que devido ao solo pouco nutritivo precisa de raízes longas e fortes, Marttinez foi obrigado a ter uma pesquisa musical profunda para compensar o cenário minguante da música eletrônica em Goiânia, cidade em que residiu por mais de 20 anos.
Marttinez já se apresentou em 6 estados, incluindo clubs referência como D-Edge e River Club. Apesar de atualmente ser mais versátil, pode-se dizer que foi um dos primeiros artistas dessa segunda onda de Djs e Produtores a fomentar essa sonoridade progressiva desde 2014, ganhando respeito nacionalmente através dos projetos em que participou ativamente: InProgress, Unik ID, Tapa no Jog, Progressive Connections, Progressive House Brazil.  
Influenciado pelos clubs da região catarinense, teve contato com apresentações históricas de suas referências musicais que moldaram sua forma de tocar, se tornando um DJ estudioso e técnico, que pode tanto tocar paramétrico fazendo mixagens sutís para um warm up, como performático para momentos mais intensos. 
Host do podcast Tapa no Jog , onde mostra os bastidores da música eletrônica com pessoas importantes da cena brasileira num bate papo descontraído. Gera conteúdo nas redes sociais, ensinando sobre equipamentos, funções de softwares, história da música, etc.
