Another bustling selection of techno burners are offered up on the latest KPAINS compilation.  Released on Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label, the sixth instalment pulls together seven bangers from some of the scene’s exciting new talents.

The harder side of the genre is represented here by the likes of Jayne Veronica and Uakoz, whilst wobbly acid & bleep vibes are served up by M.F.S: Observatory and DUFAUX.  

Regular Kneaded Pains artist Melody’s Enemy comes correct with a new production, whilst Mik&Ale and Jordan Peak complete the set with a couple of techno rattlers.

AIRMIX - Operation Noah (JAM053) Preview

I definitely got out of my comfort zone and wanted to curate something very special for my debut at one of the top 10 clubs in North America known by its insane sound system.

I played from 12am to 2am, my set is the one opening the night so I started at 120bpm and made my way to 128bpm was taking my time to mix because usually I mix quite fast hehe.
Chose to begin with an ethereal atmosphere leading to a soft groove. Wanted to play with textures, blending the sounds and laying songs over each other’s to take you on a storytelling journey through a dark and provocative space. Also increasing the energy as the night progresses, calling people to the dance floor.

I hope you enjoy this set as much as I did 🖤  and hope be back behind those decks again ✨

Bio:

Francesca to pochodząca z Lublina DJ-ka. Dzieląc się swoją selekcją muzyczną lubi lawirować pomiędzy różnymi stylami elektroniki, począwszy od technicznych brzmień, po energiczny housowy groove, czy też melodyjne dźwięki z pazurem. Można ją było usłyszeć w różnych zakątkach Polski między innymi w: Nowa Rezydencja, P29, Schron, Smolna, Praga Centrum, Luzztro, Niebo, Plener, Iskra, Ciało, Sfinks700, Transfomator, Odgłosy festiwal, Samo Centrum, The X Festiwal. 

 Zagrała rownież na dwóch edycjach Techno Lasu, Projekcie Maskarada, Great Boat Party, Wisłoujściu i wielu innych eventach. Na swoim koncie ma występy z takimi artystami jak Wehbba, Marco Ressman, Oxia, Simina Grigoriu, Layton Giordani, Sam Paganini, SHDW & Obscure Shape Dr. Motte, Eli Brown, Sama’ Abdulhadi i wieloma znakomitymi polskimi wyjadaczami.

In the space between house’s slow, seductive sway and techno’s dark, mischievous pulse, LUIGI shapes a sound of his own. At 23, the Amsterdam based DJ and producer is one of the few upcoming talents to champion niches like 2000s progressive house and italo-disco.

Though making different genres work together lies at the heart of his musical approach, his sound can be summed up in four words: squelchy, groovy, deep, and dreamy. Thanks to a childhood as a drummer, the Maltese born artist understands rhythm like its his mothertongue, claiming to have got most of his inspiration from music legends such as Mr. G, Bushwacka! and Lil' Louis.
