My name is Rickey, and I am a human from Earth. Nice to network with you. I’m from Atlanta,Ga. I was born in 1995 - so I have influences from the 20th century, and 21st century. 
My music has a foundation of love. Love for being alive, as for being well; ya know,  I love the people in my surroundings. And, my surroundings create music for me - so, it’s only right that I share this music with you.

Emergency Stopping Only is a Boise-based, brain funk band/contemporary music ensemble which performs new music by emerging composers. Co-directed by composer/pianist Jared Knight, composer/saxophonist/vocalist Leonardo Escobar, and drummer/producer Collin McFadden, the band also features violinist KeAndra Harris and bassist Joe Warnecke. ESO’s unique group of musicians draw inspiration from a smattering of musical styles, ranging from rock to classical, hip-hop to avant-garde, jazz to electronic, and nearly everything in between. All of ESO’s members are Boise State alumni.

ESO seeks to commission and perform music by emerging composers, blur the boundaries between musical styles, and expand the palate of Boise's contemporary music scene. Current and upcoming projects include the group’s debut album (2020); a collaboration with composer Isaac Smith (2019); a collaboration with composer Daniel DeLay (2020); a major commission project with composer Joseph Sowa (2020); and a performance tour of Idaho, Washington, and Oregon (2020).
