Strings is about those first few moments of clarity you have when you stand up for yourself in an unhealthy relationship, and how uplifting it can feel to take control of your own life again.

Luke Frees is a songwriter and performer based out of Chicago. His songs are melodic and have a strong emphasis on narratives, with lyrics that often tell a story. He’s produced three albums and one EP as a solo artist, as well as one album with a band he formed with other musicians at Berklee. Beginning with Gimme Some Time (To Prove U Wrong), Luke continues to consistently release new music, putting out one single at a time.
