Mandala Affect / Luke Mandala live at UPLIFT (1.16.15)(FREE DOWNLOAD)

Just days before Summer Solstice, Liquid Bloom performed a powerful set inside Meow Wolf Denver’s Numina exhibit as part of a sold-out PORTAL event during the Psychedelic Science conference. This unique night brought together a global web of psychonauts, artists, and seekers inside the surreal dreamscape of Convergence Station.

Following a rare and beautiful DJ set from East Forest, Liquid Bloom guided a journey from ambient and downtempo into bass, drum & bass, and tribal midtempo—culminating in a high-energy blend of house rhythms and ecstatic movement. A live surprise from Poranguí added soul-stirring vocals to the mix, and a closing invocation from Ram Dass gently brought the spaceship back to Earth.

Amani just returned from an unforgettable journey to Colours of Ostrava Festival in Czechia, where he played two immersive Liquid Bloom sets in one of the most unique festival settings on Earth, a reclaimed industrial park turned cultural wonderland with 45,000 participants. The vibrant energy was palpable across every stage, all nestled into the steel bones of the old factory, echoing with music from around the world.

Blooming Heart gathering.. ahh my favorite type of event. It's basically a blissed utopia on an island in the NW in the summer. Doesn't get much better for me. I played tunes of mine that I thought were appropriate for a sunny summer afternoon. When I showed up to the stage is was a pleasant surprise to see thousands of people there at the opening ceremony for the festival.  I didn't know that ceremony was going to be on the stage I was performing at (Earth Stage, pic is shown), so this was an epic surprise. The ceremony was very powerful and moving and I ended up picking new songs of mine to start out my set about 60 seconds before I started playing music. Symbioses throws my favorite music festivals in the US so I'm deeply grateful to be involved! It's free download and the quality with the free download sounds WAY better than SoundCloud.

Luke’s dynamic live act includes playing a mixture of electronic and acoustic music while mixing in multiple live wind instruments and live drumming. His lifelong devotion to community dance medicine started at age 14 in 1998 when he started to DJ at northwest USA raveriffic events! He then started touring the world and releasing hundreds of songs released with a large number of the biggest labels in the world like Selador, Desert Hearts, Digital Structures, Dreaming Awake, Desert Trax, Booka Shade Music. 

This is deep piscean scorpio music, sprinkled with unusual sounds, unexpected twists, eclectic mix of global sounds, various tempos and grooves. It reflects stories of love-driven culture and open-minded ideas.  Depending on the crowd, the sets can vary from being pretty and uplifting to deep, dark, and primal, although they typically feature melodic and atmospheric textures infused with a lot of emotion.  Luke also has a functional (natural, root cause) medicine practice as this weaves so beautiful with dance and music medicine. He helps people heal frequent issues of the gut, metabolism and tiredness.
