I'm a self-taught hobby musician and started to create music in 2008. I mostly use electronic sounds, sometimes combined with samples from field-recordings. 

I like to associate my music with the beauty of nature and our wonderful blue planet from where I take most of my inspiration.

I love the SoundCloud community and I'm happy that I can share my work here with you.

Bedroom EDM musician with a knack for sound design

MOVEMAT started to produce electronic music in the middle of the  90`s in Düsseldorf. With his background of percussion instruments he began to experiment with synthesizer sounds and samples. 

In 2003 he made some live electro-visual performances in Düsseldorf.
In 2006 he released his TELEISOLATION EP on Cosmic Playroom, a sublabel of Night Drive Music.
In 2010 one track has been released on the sampler Analog Tapes Volume 6 by Tretmuehle.
In 2011 he released the SKYHEIMERS EP on CLEAR CUT CRECORDS.

No track sounds like the one before. There is always a development in his tracks with highs and lows. Melodies, sequences and electronic drums are sticked together by some roots of early electro.

Based in the Heidelberg region, Germany, I have some background in classical music and started my journey of discovery into the world of modular synthesizers and sound design. Mainly using MOOG and Elektron Synths, I try to combine this somehow with the flute and grandma's old tube radio :-) 
Inspired by my preference for House and Ambient.
