Good morning!! Please find here my Deep & Sexy Podcast #26! This is my Rio 2016 edition. 
I played 5 events in Rio de Janeiro during the Olympics and this podcast is a selection of the finest tracks which I played there. It was such a privilege to be able to play, on my day of arrival, for about 3000 people at a beautiful castle. Rushing in to get in time I finally arrived a few minutes after midnight, I was supposed to start at midnight. So coming there, the promoter said, well…..maybe wait for a little longer cause then the place is totally filled up since I was there headliner. After a few times:’aaaah, wait a little longer’, I started my set at 01:30. But….it was worth the wait. What a crowd and what a joy and excitement on the floor! My friend from New York, Kung Pow Meow also arrived so he was able to shoot some crazy footage of it, check my Facebook page for the video of that event. Furthermore I played for the United Nations/Unicef for their official ’Refugee House’. I played at the official Dutch ‘Heineken House’, the Olympic Village and at a private mansion.
Apart from that I am a huge sports fanatic, love doing sports myself, so I had a wonderful time in Rio de Janeiro. I hope you enjoy it, it has some more intensive energetic tracks to it than you’re used to hear. So let me know your thoughts! Till soon! That time of the year....AfrikaBurn.....and yes it was another one on fire again. I felt ALIVE this AfrikaBurn. And the set you find here is the set I played on Thursday afternoon, sunset at Camp Now. Playing on the playa, dancing people around me, beautifully dressed up and feeling the freedom and their own soul and emotions. It was another privilege to play for all of these people again. Thanks as well to Bubbles & Bass and The Golden Calf for bringing so many beautiful experiences during my live sets there! And of course a big thanks to my AfrikaBurn Dino family!

Something that once seemed like a distant dream,  seven years ago during my first Burning Man, actually became a reality for me three years ago when I played the Robot Heart bus for the first time. I was beyond happy to make my way back for their 10 year anniversary this past summer. 

I have been greatly inspired through so many special dusty mornings at Robot heart, and have made countless friends and unforgettable memories over the years.

I owe a lot to my changing the style and direction of my music to my first Burning Man and me experiencing Robot heart there. I am forever thankful for their existence and hope they will live on for many more years to come! Happy 10th anniversary :)

 Here is the recording of my very first sunrise set at Burning Man 2018 in the Black Rock Desert. I started playing around 5:45 am, the lights and lasers were still glowing in the cold darkness of the night..as the songs were passing by, the sky turned blue and the horizon warmer. Burners were all facing the deep playa, waiting for the sun to appear. It was an honour to soundtrack this moment and share music in such a magical place. No matter how hard I try, words can barely describe the energy and emotions felt in that instant... I hope music can express it better. 

I'd like to thank Maxa Camp & The Gardens of Babylon for inviting me to play on this beautiful Xaman Art Car...the mystical blue deer.   I’m very grateful to have shared this moment with so many incredible souls, old and new friends.

Kora @ Burning Man 2018 [Sunrise Set on the Maxa Xaman]

After @mellowcatmusic provided one of the best warm up sets... our wonderful guest @deepfilip followed with an intense melodic and big unique techno set. I then I had the challenge to step up after two of my favorite music diggers/DJs/personalities to keep up the intensity of this wicked Sunset Grooves night at Folklor club in Lausanne. We finished the night with a b2b2b, however that will remain for the ears of those who were there that night... ;) 

I hope you enjoy this no nonsense mix as the set time was 03:30 - 05:00.

It's hard to stay in the present, when the present fades away so quickly. What is a week, when you have grown older...it seems like a blink of an eye. But don't worry, it's all a matter of perspective. For every end, comes a new beginning. The moodyness and peace of autumn is something special...
especially for the music we love to showcase. 

Mystery, silence and the unknown is something we strive for. When the sun slowly fades away and leaves this side of the earth - the darkness leaves room for the unknown, everyone hides with their blankets, a warm tea and their loved ones. The best time to focus on one thing, as there isn't much to get you attracted - this is where deep & thoughful music can truly shine and attract its audience.

For this year's transition, we have two newcomers, Andrew Case & VieL, who are about to release our forthcoming "Piuma" EP, appreciate the sound for the dreamers & thinkers. Today subtle, smooth and atmospheric music will guide you for a 110 minute trip, to your inner mind. Please enjoy and get lost.

One of the most prominent producers and DJ in the Mexican electronic music scene, Paulor is an architect by trade but harbors a multi-discipline skill set going well beyond his professional training – he’s really good, for example, at having fun with guitar riffs and drum hits. Deciding to take his passion to the next level, he started making the rounds as a DJ staple for everything from Soul, Funk, Disco, and brushes of rock to contemporary electronic dance music, landing him a coveted residency spot at the legendary TOPAZdeluxe in Monterrey. A close friend for years, PAULOR chose Rebolledo as the first critic of his own production work – and got the Pachanga Boy immediately hooked on the sheer musicality abounding in it. It’s what lead to essential contributions to “A Very Nice Combinado Volume Dos” and Rebolledo’s remix album “Mondo Re- Alterado” - potent primers for the artist’s first solo EP on You And Your Hippie Friends, which also includes the infamous cut “Paulor’s Blues”, finally bringing this secret cult favorite amongst heavy rollers to the masses.

Dunmore Park is the culmination of a life spent absorbing and collecting music from all over the world. His sound is a nostalgic collage of influences, taking old world melodies, Latin grooves, and tribal percussion, and mingling them with modern house and downtempo music.  As a diverse producer, his songs run the gamut between peak-time house to emotive electronica, while always keeping a signature sound throughout.

Behind the decks, his innovative hybrid approach to DJing, which includes live elements like synths, guest vocalists, and live drums, takes dancers on musical journeys through house, techno, and world music. His skills behind the decks have taken him from Amsterdam to Vancouver, as well as to renowned festivals like ADE, Bass Coast, Astral Harvest, and more.

As music educator, he is responsible for a music production school, the Night Vision Music Academy, and Western Canada’s leading professional development conference for producers and DJs: the Alberta Electronic Music Conference.
