Somehow we got the feeling, we should honor this. Why so ever, lets just do it, because it is beautiful, beacuse our music that we record and produce is also just a binary code, transforming over and over again, from our fingers on the synths, from the mic to the mixer, from the mixer into space, back on black plastics or bluetoothing through your walls directly in your ear...and this just because there is a 1 and a 0. This is why we celebrate, to say thank you to these magic numbers. Without these two little friends we would drum our techno with bones in analog caves. Naked. Oh Wait...that sounds great...the URSL Cave Raves. Mmmmh...well we will keep you in the loop on this new project. In the meantime you can listen to some electronic music from Deckert, Jan Mir and Rampue.

Following key releases on the likes of Permanent Vacation and System Records, this Correspondant debut hits all the right rave spots with unabashed euphoria and energy. The titles say it all…

'Moving Around' isn't a suggestion, it's an order as Jordan goes old school with rolling bass momentum and a humungous riffy breakdown that will have you breaking out in goosebumps from head-to-toe.

Midland marked the maiden voyage on his ReGraded imprint only two months ago, with his Double Feature EP. Without a second to lose, the second release is set to go, with newcomer Hubie Davison and his Sanctified EP now at the helm. The title track has become a staple of Midland's sets throughout summer, with it first entering our radars during his BR x Dekmantel set (check the exact moment it dropped here). Satisfaction so deep, it prompted Midland to contact Hubie to see if he'd consider releasing it on ReGraded. Though the label may still be in its infancy, the calibre exemplified in this second release proves it to be unparalleled.

REGRD002 drops on 27 November strictly only on vinyl.

Hubie Davison "Sanctified" - Boiler Room Debuts

Younger Than Me are Marcello Carozzi and John Ming, a rising DJ and producer duo from Milan. They teamed up with singer Lara Caprotti for their debut release. The uplifting synth arrangements combined with the soulful voice of Lara results in an ultimate sexy-disco-rave euphoria. Fellow Italians Massimiliano Pagliara and Uabos handled the remixes and and put their sophisticated signature on top. A future club classic, sweet as honey!

Record will be out the 29th of March on Bordello A Parigi.

Better Listen Records continues its hot streak into 2018 with a debut EP from Joe Corti. The young Londoner’s short discography is off to a strong start with singles on the always good Pusic Records, the always sleazy Mr. Nice Guy Records, and now a proper artist EP on one of America’s most promising underground house labels.

Comprised of carefully selected samples and exciting arrangements, From London With Love shows off Corti’s ability to dig out timeless samples for the dancefloor and weave them into a DJ’s dream. Special People and Mr Kuti make up the rowdy, percussion-filled A-side, while Thinkin’ and Fulham Broadway go a little deeper into disco territory — keeping in line with the label’s roots.

Special People and Mr Kuti are definitely cut from the same cloth, both containing a myriad of elements organized into hard to pin down but nevertheless emotionally engaging tracks. The repetition of the samples at play could easily get stale but, as the lyrics cleverly float in an out of understanding, one forgets about the message, stick to the feeling, and keep on dancing. Thinkin’ switches up the formula in favour of strings, cheers, and smart filtering. Rounding things off is Fulham Broadway, a funky number full of syncopated hits and an oh-so-sweet bassline. The tracks here could be from almost any era of which conveys a maturity beyond the producer’s years. From London With Love is out on vinyl January 26th.

Exclusive: New World - Poéme

It's been a moment since Markus Gebauer alias New World debuted on Riotvan with his Night Stalker EP, which featured label mainstay Jennifer Touch on the vocals. Seven years later Markus returns with a five-tracker, namely Souvenirs, containing four originals tracks and a remix from one of the producers of the moment, Juan MacLean, who took on remix duties for Enough!. The EP contains various vibes and tonalities but yet remains true to its Indie-Disco tone paired with references and elements from New Disco and New Wave put into a New World-frame. With his track Poéme Markus created a homage to French chansons and one of the EP's (dance floor) highlights as the track comes in a sophisticated elegance evoking an infamous and seductive feel or in other words: Poéme is a Neo-Disco Chanson with a vibe and fluency as poetic as music can get when put into lines.

New World's EP Souvenirs will be released on Riotvan on August 7th, 2020.
