Demonolatry (noun)
1. the worship of demons

A practitioner of demonolatry uses ancient sigils and rituals to open portals and summon powerful entities believed by many cultures to be malicious beings from another dimension.

By offering their loyalty and sacrifices, the practitioner hopes that the demon will use its power to grant them their deepest desires. While this may at times succeed, such wishes are granted at a great cost. Often times, the entity can overpower the practitioner, creating havok and even completely upending their reality. Once the demon has taken control, there may be no way to stop this.
