The musical roots in my family go back to my grandfather, Sid Barbato, an exceptional jazz clarinetist, who passed on the values of music to his many children, my father included. I wanted to put something together that combined these roots of jazz with current electronic styles I am inspired by, and this is the result. This very special set features the music of several of my family members, mixed with some originals as well as music of other producers I like, premiered with the Starborn Productions Jazz Brunch takeover for Industry Strong's 76hr livestream event. I am grateful for having a family that taught me music as one of the greatest pleasures in life, and I hope that this helps keep the vibrant genre of jazz alive and celebrated.
