Exiled Records has recently hit the streets of Dundee, Scotland. A new venture courtesy of Ben Rothes of Hilltown Disco, a well regarded Dundonian Electro Label, and Stalker of Public House - a local party crew. Together they've created a home for gruelling, chuggy, weirdo electronics - the likes of which their city hasn't previously seen. The first release on the imprint, 'Dancing in the Dark', by LBEEZE, featuring a remix from Kluentah, is available now via their bandcamp or most good record
stores.

For mix #077 we welcome long-time friend and sister, Hazra!

Not many positives have come from COVID-19 but Lauren finally taking the plunge into mixing has been a definite plus for everyone, whether you know it yet or not.

Now Glasgow-based but originally from Dundee, we have partied with her long before Hilltown Disco days.  From Thursday-Sunday sessions at our beloved home of the Reading Rooms, to infamous Commercial Street parties, Hazra has always had the ear for killer tunes and has really just always got it - which can be felt in this mix.

The set was recorded mid-isolation when she had COVID which makes the result even more impressive.  A mix for the dancers and for the nights of the future.

Over the past five years /DL/MS/ (@dl-ms) have been continually commuting through the electro singularity, constructing their unique brand of fragile bass music from extradimensional sound salvage, and spreading their electrifying frequency patterns via the pirate subspace channels of @frustratedfunk, @pomelorecords, @vigram and TRUST.

‘Calanhi’ is the Austrian production outfit‘s debut album – 12 tracks that combine the perpetually fresh aesthetics of Detroit-style electro with a relentless curiosity for rhythmic and harmonic experimentation. Seismic club thumpers like ’Invisible Bits’, ‘Mountains’, and ‘Trusted Funk’ alternate with moody ambient interludes, boldly constructed beat inventions, and blissfully melodic acid breaks. Two collaborations further switch up the flow: Nigerian artist @g-rizo (@hezekinapollutina, DeeJay Gigolo) drops her conspirational rhymes on ‘Divide & Conquer’, and Spanish singer @isiskuaygarond lends her vocal talents to ‘Accelerated Frequency’.

‘Invisible Bits’ will be released as a digital single on March 21. ‘Divide & Conquer’ will follow as a second single on April 11.
