To celebrate its 2nd anniversary, Ola Radio is launching a series of three compilations, bringing together 43 artists with plural aesthetics, like Ola Radio’s musical selection.

« Ola Compile vol.1 - Bande passante » is the first in this three-part series. Its release is scheduled for January 14, 2021 (Ola Radio's anniversary).
The release inaugurates the meeting between several universes in a free creative space where downtempo, dub, techno, leftfield and ambient intersect to form a coherent and nuanced whole. This is the result of 14 artists of multiple influences, from Bordeaux and elsewhere, all driven by the same love and passion for music.

SIMPLE EXPOSITION are Insulaire and Blumm, two members of the long-standing Bordeaux-based French crew tplt, join forces on a new adventure, mixing their various influences to forge a new sound, hopefully crafted for the future. Teatre hails from Lithuania, a place especially dear to the Lux Rec team both for personal and musical reasons. For his first vinyl release Teatre produced six tracks which span from powerful, vital straightness to brooding resonant laments.

This record would not have been possible without Ernestas Sadau, Roman Sputnik, Kęstutis Lingys and Eivydas Kantautas of Digital Tsunami. Colombia’s Kaputt Club returns with another sterling various artist release featuring a host of talent that showcases the best in dark disco, electronica, electro and much more.
2020 saw the Bogota based club launch their eponymous imprint with a far reaching compilation, dropping tracks from a host of artists that perfectly represent the Kaputt sound as they further cement their position as a beacon of the Colombian underground. Now they are back with ten new and exclusive cuts which transcends the club and explores the human impact on the planet, and how nature came back to reclaim their land.
Born in quarantine when nature sounded much louder than usual, VozTerra a local non-profit organization invited people to listen to nature in 'Sounds from your window'. People in Colombia and around the world took the opportunity of the isolation to listen and record ths sounds of nature. The material, together with soundscapes previously recorded in the Van der Hammen Reserve and in the La Conejera Wetland, in Bogotá, were given to DJs from the electronic music scene to create musical pieces which are now part of the ‘Reserva/Voz Terra’ compilation.
The alliance of Kaputt.wav, VozTerra and the Museum for the United Nations - UN Live, is the compilation of unconventional actions that musicians and people from all over the world took to express their interest in caring for nature with the hope of inspiring people to take action to care for biodiversity and mitigate climate change.

Introducing Hilmo Thioheridiza a.k.a Hxxmo for the first Gabe Gabe Tapes' 11th release in 2021. Hailing from the city of Batu-Malang, Hilmo is a DJ and producer, one of a thousand figures on the Malang dance music scene. After his remix on Xilang Bvdaya - Pencak Xilat in October 2020, we decided to work together to release his EP "Dentum Jagat Roh" at the end of March.

"Dentum Jagat Roh" is the title of EP Hxxmo which describes the sound of electronic booms, rich in occult/ ethnic elements followed by mythical stories from the city of Batu-Malang or the island of Java itself. Introduced by the track "Getih Jagat" (Getih which means "blood" and Jagat which can be interpreted as "world"), the track, which runs 6:15, tells a wide range of stories and electronic music. Hilmo said the Getih Jagat track is a track that describes the atmosphere of bloodshed in the land of war.

This can be heard with the start of the sound of "snare" wrapped in "reverb" and electronic music as the opening of "war-dances" followed by the dialogue of a dalang using Javanese, making this track succeed in telling what "Getih Jagat" itself means. The dalang's voice-over tells a famous story, namely a big war between families the Bharatayudha War (the story of the war between the Pandawa Family and the Korawa Family). The story of the war which resulted in bloodshed in the land of war was Hilmo's goal in creating this track. The track depicting the atmosphere of “Getih Jagat” was successfully packaged with a suitable and intense mood.	

Inviting Gatra, a DJ and producer from Surabaya to remix this song, Gatra succeeded in bringing listeners to listen to Getih Jagat in different nuances. Not eliminating the elements of Myth, Ethnicity, Horror, and Mysticism, the formula produced by Gatra produces the same wild output that can bring listeners to a beat as if they are in a dance floor battle.

New Day Everyday launches 2021 with their debut compilation and brings forward the roots and essence of their musical sphere.

Starting off with the sneaky rocknrollish Sebastian Tex ‘Hisdraya’ to set you on the right frequency, keep rolling with the wonderboy Astroloop and his ‘Dizziness’ to get you into a dancing mood, maintaining the tension with the Mexican ‘King Of Trassh’ Thomass Jackson and his dark cinematic synths, releasing the leash as the tornado ‘Konnakol’ comes in by the upcoming Israelis Gionist & Turgi, leaving you afloat in an acid extravaganza with ‘The Pi and the Pedestal’ by the never-ending Zillas On Acid, gaining a romantic expansion and a kiss by Skelesys ‘Do It Again’ and finally a stormy farewell with Junto Club lovely accent on ‘Son Of A Gun’ by the labels bosses Niv Ast & Eliezer.

It’s a hell of a trip and it's worth it.

Exhausted Modern builds on his artistic journey with the release of the Year of the Rat remixes EP, a collective reinterpretation that takes the murky, hidden depths of the album to new rhythmic dimensions.

Philipp Otterbach starts off the A-side with a spellbinding composition for the thoughtful, dissolving Pineal Gland into an ethereal cluster of solemn melodies and vocals. Annechoic's take on Apathy Eats You Alive delves into the melodic side of the track, polishing it for the dance floor. Poperttelli draws out T-Maze from dark introspection to beats that waver between a glitch and a heartbeat, with the feeling of having been resuscitated.

The B-Side sees Ayaz putting words to a 180-degree spin on Food of the Gods with hallucinogenic dynamism: a grimy tale of facing the unavoidable. Finally, NVST returns with her Hifive remix of Hard Working Rats, oscillating between heavy and melancholic with soul-permeating resonance.

Once upon a time, Adventure Society and Jokios Kultūros attended a party. After a while, it got moist inside and, both decided to go for a puff. To their surprise, they met a mysterious-looking grandpa. Grandpa told them he possesses a device called Space Morpher and offered them to try it once. Both being Lithuanians - they agreed. They ended up in a place like no other... This track is a story of their journey.
