Post lockdown does not mean we need to fall back into the same patterns like we did before. This EP contains a smooth transition to a new reality. ULTRATERRENO is TAGLIABUE`s (@josephtagliabue) newest EP on the Berlin and Zurich based micro Label Lustpoderosa. 

The celestial sounds from the italian producer Tagliabue is a healing process of well tempered analog synthesizers. The cure is in the mix of pre dancefloor and ambient tracks inlcuding a slow trancy chug from well known and apreciated selector @AnatolianWeapons. 

Tagliabue is not just inspired by the afro cosmic heritage of Beppe Loda and Daniele Baldelli, but also from post-folk, rock, prog and kraut influences of 70’s and early 80’s, passing through New Wave and Synth Pop of Gaznevada or The Stupid Set and not to forget italians rave culture of the 90s with Franceso Farfa and Marco Dionigi just to mention a few. 

This very intimate EP is a meditative and transcendental journey to another world. Literally.

Moscow duo Odopt debut on the label with an EP of discordant, darkroom bangers for the end of days. Following acclaimed releases for Born Free, Discos Capablanca and Hivern. Ivan & Grisha - former residents of the infamous Denis Simachev Bar who glided aboard the Salon des Amateurs, Sameheads, Opium, Golden Pudel, 20:44 caravan with ease - present a 4 tracker of propulsive techno-house chamber music for these modern times.

Starting with A14 their nefarious, sonic industrial funk is on max. Samples reverberate around a dystopian shell, before playful tonalities swirl you higher. As hands to the sky as Odopt will ever witness. There is true beauty in the night.

A dense atmosphere prevails Keylat, it's darker EBM variations jack the master; voices scattering over schematic, metallic melodies before percussion is tamed, fading to a soporiphic realism.

Rolling, squelchy, acid, we embrace Sample Commerce Shot. Bending, growling, dive-bombing limbs and minds, its sleazy pursuit hard to resist as cavernous flashes lung from neo arpeggios to lock you in the groove.

If you translate Jokios Kultūros into English, you will get the abstract term "uncultured". Dovydas Platakis is a DJ and producer representing the underground layers of Tauragė – a small city in the West of Lithuania. To honour his pseudonym, he delivers his vision of music in a chaotic, uncultured way, mixing different genres and styles. Old school hip-hop lover, he started to produce a long time ago, mostly sending his demos and promos only to his friends and now – to the delight of music lovers all over the world – finally going into deeper waters.

Days, weeks and months passed without any word; all avenues of communication had run dry. It was as though he'd disappeared into thin air, leaving no trace behind him. Taking matters into their own hands, they began their detective work, leaving no stone unturned. But after following all of their leads his whereabouts remained shrouded in mystery. They wouldn't give up that easily though; the search would continue until they had their answer. 

A year after his first EP, Is This EBM?, Geneva's Brainwaves crew are gearing up for the release of Thomas Bodenständig's sophomore album, Speed Am Rhein. But the label are releasing it with mixed emotions. In May they received a box of 66 hand-numbered cassettes from Thomas, along with a largely illegible letter that seemed to detail that he was delving in high-speed trading during visits to Franfurt and had some sort of pulmonary affliction with complications. It outlined one final ask of the label — no matter what happened they must release the album before the end of 2020. 

Since receiving the package, they have had countless failed attempts at contacting him through every possible line of communication, but to no avail. His apartment in Leverkusen is now vacant, his favourite barstool in his local is gathering dust and his cellar seems to have been emptied of all of his recording equipment. They enlisted their friend to go and scour the streets and the bars, and even checked local hospital and morgue records for his name, but it's as if he's vanished off the face of the earth. 

The label are still searching for his whereabouts and they won't be giving up until they do, but on Thomas' instructions, and after six months of no news, they are releasing the album into the world with a mixture of sadness, pride and nostalgia...
