• Study the structure.
Pick two genres;  Funk and House, or anything you’re curious about and learn what gives each one its emotional pull and rhythmic feel.

• Experiment with stems.
Play with vocals, melodies, drums, synths… let different parts speak to each other. That’s where fresh ideas begin.

• Work on the flow.
Mashups and remixes depend on transitions. It’s not just what you play, it’s how you move between tracks and keep the momentum alive.

• Trust your instincts.
Some of the best ideas come from breaking the expected rules. If something feels right, lean into it.

• Stay open and RECORD EVERYTHING YOU DO !!
Inspiration shows up in unexpected sounds and unplanned moments, capture everything.
