A choral piece inspired by and inspiring to children both young and old, When I Hear Music is a beautiful yet simple composition for two-part voices with a flowing melody and heartfelt words. Brian Katona’s lyrics and music were inspired by the 2015–2016 third grade class at Maurice Hawk Elementary School, and the result is a touching tribute to the school and the children’s expression of the importance of music in their lives.
