Hiii was back on NTS radio presenting the amazing Munich trio @lyderlyderlyder for a grounding session to dive into the depth of 𝓢𝓬𝓸𝓻𝓹𝓲𝓸 𝓼𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓸𝓷.
🎷 Lyder, is a music project blending jazz instrumental practices and electronic music, by Lindsey Wang (aka Polygonia), Niklas Bühler (aka FTP Doctor), and Moritz Stahl (aka odizouu). Their fusion of jazz and electronic genres through improvisation and sound effects crafts an eclectic sonic journey from emotive soundscapes to vibrant rhythms.  
✨ November's 𝓢𝓬𝓸𝓻𝓹𝓲𝓸 𝓼𝓮𝓪𝓼𝓸𝓷 will bring pivotal celestial movements, offering both challenges and opportunities for growth.

As we enjoyed this one a lot, Simon Popp and I wanted to share our live improvisation session for Intimacy Quarterly at Blitz Club Munich from January 2024. 
Simon Popp is a very talented jazz drummer who is capable of creating complex yet beautiful sound art with his big variety of timbres in his drum set. Following the aesthetics and ideas of our collab album 'Candid' on the Munich based label Squama records, we created a little sonic journey with loads of sound design experiments.

There’s something special about clicking with someone musically, aesthetically, and on a human level. That’s exactly how we feel about our collaboration with Mostra Festival, which is entering its third year. We’re thrilled to introduce some of the talent performing at the 2025 edition and to continue this creative exchange with our friends from Spain.

Mostra 2025 happens April 17-20 at two brand-new locations. With two waves of artists already announced, it’s clear that the high bar set by previous editions has once again been met. Expect the finest in ambient, experimental, avant-garde, and techno. The final wave of artists will be revealed tomorrow, February 12—keep an eye on the festival’s socials for the full announcement. More details on the lineup, new venues, and everything Mostra-related will be coming soon to our page.

Today’s guest mix comes from an artist we’ve been following closely: Mariachiara Troianiello, aka Katatonic Silentio. An Italian producer, DJ, and researcher, she moves between electronic music, performing arts, and sound studies, blending abstraction with club energy. Active as a DJ for over 15 years, her sets oscillate between an analog past and a fast-moving future—sometimes dreamy and introspective, other times razor-sharp and unpredictable.
This January, she was part of ExtraMostra event at Berlin’s OHM, where Mostra & Midgar joined forces. Alongside DjSport, Forest Drive West, Keplrr, and Severja, she delivered a mind-bending set in a packed-out club that couldn’t fit everyone who wanted in.

For her guest mix in our series, Katatonic Silentio explores dub techno in her own meticulous way—controlled, intentional, and always with a sense of movement. The first hour plays with restraint, each track given space to breathe, while subtle shifts build an unspoken tension. Just when you think you’ve settled into the groove, she nudges things into unexpected territory—tightening the pulse, throwing in off-kilter patterns, and steering toward a more kinetic, unpredictable second hour. It’s a mix that keeps you on your toes, unfolding with precision rather than force. A refined trip from an artist who never takes the obvious route.

Delayed x Mostra: Katatonic Silentio

Basel’s Timnah joins our series with a long-anticipated recording from last year’s inaugural pe:rsona, an intimate gathering from the minds at Positive Education. Over the years Timnah has established a reputation for expansive and visionary selections without equal, lending her voice to the beloved Amentia and A Walking Contradiction collectives and leading audiences into captivating unknowns worldwide. Recorded live in the French countryside at the peak of summer, Timnah’s set smolders with delicate tension, lacing outward like tendrils upon shattering glass. An intense, inward-folding moment graciously shared. Thanks Timnah!

We're excited to share our improvised ambient concert which we played at a Fields and Currents session at Milla Club Munich in June earlier this year (2025).
The entire session was captured by Umbertoecho on tape — what you’re hearing is essentially the digitized warmth of that recording 📼

Our new album weird.fishes on Tunnel Visions was born out of a spirit of freedom and improvisation. In the same vein, we wanted to share this recording—music created without restrictions, without a plan, simply letting things unfold. There’s a special joy in spontaneity, and this concert felt like a true glimpse of that bliss.

As we approach the end of summer, I am delighted to welcome Marius Bø to Deep Mind Music with an ethereal mix of celestial atmospheres to calm the soul ✧｡⋆.

Inspired by recent time spent in the mountains of Norway, the mix takes us high into the stratosphere, where whispers of cirrus clouds melt into the surrounding sky. Gentle blankets of emotive tones morph around us, as we are carried forth into the sacred chambers of the inner mind.

As the mix progresses, delicate arpeggiated spirals bloom across the imagination, and we are held in delicate suspension above the earth, floating, weightless, in quiet introspection. Thank you Marius for this beautiful mix, a space for deep reflection and blissful harmony within.

Hey Jasmin, how’s it going? What's been happening for you lately?
I’m well, I’m currently living between Lisbon and London this summer which has been a dream! Great food, beach sessions and writing music. It’s been a wild 3 months and I’m just getting myself ready for the seasons changing!

What can you tell us about your mix?
For this mix I wanted to mould my love of groovy minimal and psychedelic tones for the moody season ahead, which is usually my signature sound! I have been producing a lot of this recently and some of my unreleased bits are exclusively inside 💜

⁠Is there a track or tracks that are extra special for you?
I’d probably say my own productions are the special to me as it reminds me of how much I have developed as a producer and artist. I love connecting with the tracks and being able to create my own atmospheric world for listeners to get lost in. But one track that I always come back to is "bluep" by Underground City Loop (a producer from Aus). I have been playing this track for years and it has every sonic element you'd want from a track - low end sub groove with dark melodic synths.

LEVL performed on the third day of #Mostra25 at the Vall d'Hebron Olympic Pavilion.

Forest Drive West, Felix K and DB1 are LEVL. Together, they explore the murky territory between drum & bass, techno and experimental electronics, crafting a distinctive sound that defies the boundaries of genre. The trio's collaboration began with DB1 and Forest Drive West putting out music through Berlin-based Felix K’s label Hidden Hawaii, which led to the formation of LEVL: a combination of each artist’s unique production approach that creates a cohesive and innovative sound. 

LEVL's debut release, “LEVL#1”, was issued in 2019 on Arcola, a sub-label of Warp Records, a bass- and breaks-heavy record showcasing their ability to blend ambient textures with complex rhythms. “LEVL#2”, on Felix K's Nullpunkt label, further explores the intersection of ambient, drum & bass and techno.

Beyond their recorded output, LEVL brings a strong energy to live performances, delivering an immersive and genre-bending musical experience. With meticulous attention to detail, the group pushes the boundaries of electronic music through soundscapes that challenge and captivate listeners.

The music project LYDER was born from a fascination with the instrumental playing practice of jazz as well as the love to electronic music production. 
Under their collaborative pseudonym, Lindsey Wang (@polygonia - live electronics, vocals, violin), Niklas Bühler (@delusionalcircuits - live electronics, piano) and Moritz Stahl (@odizouu - live electronics, saxophone) combine jazz and techno by fusing improvisation, live-looping and sound effects into an immersive electroacoustic experience. 
Their broad musical mood spectrum ranges from harmonic and emotional soundscapes to fast, driving rhythms, which create a hypnotic undertow through multi-faceted sound design.
