The buzzards wheel slowly
In wide circles, in a sky
Faintly hazed as from dust from the road.
And a wind sweeps through the pasture where I lie
Beating the grass into long waves.

My kite is above the wind,
Though now and then it wobbles,
Like a man shaking his shoulders;
And the tail streams out momentarily,
Then sinks to rest.

And the buzzards wheel and wheel,
Sweeping the zenith with wide circles
Above my kite. And the hills sleep.
And a farm house, white as snow,
Peeps from green trees - far away.

And I watch my kite,
For the thin moon will kindle herself ere long,
Then she will swing like a pendulum dial
To the tail of my kite.
A spurt of flame like a water-dragon
Dazzles my eyes -
I am shaken as a banner!

Standing Still

un nouveau chillout, parce que des soucis, ce n'est pas ça qui manque dans ce monde ( mais c'est vrai, les soucis, ce sont aussi des fleurs). Le titre, lui, vient d' une réminiscence qui remonte à l'enfance,  d'un passage au tout début d'un roman de Jules Verne ( peut-être Robur le Conquérant mais je n'en suis pas sûr) qui parle d'une dispute qui opposait, à l'aube de l'aviation,  partisans des engins "plus lourds que l'air" à ceux qui ne juraient que par "les plus légers que l'air" ( des aristotéliciens en somme).
à entendre plutôt au casque ou écouteurs -surtout pour les voix et percussions)

A quick experiment built from a pair of Oblique Strategies cards:

“Honour thy error as a hidden intention” / “Just carry on”

This track started as an improvised bass demo over a simple low-note loop meant to replace a click track. I accidentally recorded four mismatched fingerboard-taps while trying to sketch a candombe-style groove — and instead of deleting them, I looped them across the whole piece. The synth layers were added later to make the odd bass/percussion hybrid loop actually work.

Loose playing, strange chord ideas, and all the imperfections left in on purpose. A fun morning session that I may revisit later.

Jeg leter etter lyden av å være. Og derfor er ikke alltid musikk, i betydningen melodi, det sentrale. Kanskje mer en tilnærming til noe. Enkelt er det jo ikke. Men veldig meningsfullt.
