When countries literally vote against the ending of a genocide that is documented live in unprecedented dimensions, it feels like it puts our reality on halt while it just continues at the same time. 

Reliable sources of information and conversations on eye-level are profoundly important in order to sanely navigate through this mess. In our first Interview here on Wave Channel, we had just this with none other than Stas Shärifulla from Siberia, known under his moniker HMOT. 

Stas’ vast knowledge and his way to communicate complex content in a inviting and accessible way is giving ground for endless exchange.  

His ongoing research examines the potential of sonic agency, e.g. how sound and music operate in contexts of political activism and resistance practices, addressing the variation in inequality across authoritarian regimes and unbalanced power dynamics under late capitalism. 

He visited Dream Channel for a deep talk and blessed us with an electrifying live Performance.
