XVIII - When Everyone Goes Apart (Hålbå Remix) [LXVIII]

After a few years hosting events, djying,  and exploring music production, based in Brussels and Argentinian born artist Elaina Vierce, has released two digital EP's during the past year, and is currently working on new material to release. 
For the occasion she brings us a mix full of the obscure textures that have become her signature sound over the years, combining rare releases , unreleased, fresh released, and to be released tracks that will soon see the light.

Which artists has influenced you the most? What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? What inspires you now to create music? What set-up do you use when creating music?

Lots of really good labels are constantly working to launch new artists, and sounds. When searching for new music, what I  find exciting and interesting  is that there are more and more collectives that release producers whose creativity and techniques are outstanding, but also, putting a special intention on diversifying the scene, an approach that is very necessary. The list is extensive, but you'll find a few in the descriptive tracklist of this podcast. 
Of course, this inspire me aswell when it comes to composing. At the moment I'm working on a new EP, alongside playing live sets -a constant creation- some projects in collaboration, and some by myself. As for set up, well, that changes often, but mainly drum machines, drum synth and effect pedals. 
I still play very rhythmic DJ sets as well, mostly techno and electro oriented, but i get exhilarated when I hear that distinctive element that makes a track or an artist unique, regardless the genre, so I can't help myself to throw in unexpected surprises sometimes when mixing.

Aleksander Jagodziński - a young voice of the Warsaw techno scene. He is still establishing his style, although raw, it has a heavy classical feeling due to the composing side.

"The System" is inspired by the deconstructivist movement and the creative strategies and concepts that it has developped in order to create radical architectural forms, those were transposed in the music context by 6SISS in order to build and de(con)struct the tracks forming this EP.

Belgian Peter Adriaenssens aka 6SISS has been keeping a steady output of releases since several years on labels such as legendary electronic imprint R&S Records. He delivers bruising off kilter rhythms stagger and lurches in mesmerizing ways that undercut the 4:4 hegemony, confusing and delighting dancefloors in equal measure.
