“In the mist of the night, a driver locks his rimmed glasses to his face, fasten his seatbelt and stomps his foot on the gas. An array of beams and city lights flow in a continuous spectrum that dissolves into lines as the car speeds up. It’s only a matter of time before his journey turns into a tunnel of light. Off he goes into the distance to test the space time continuum limits of speed and sound with aboard of his car only courage and humility.”  

For his first EP, Romain FX digs deep in his emotions to pull out four Italo & House infused tracks full of musical surprises.  

Romain FX comes to Fauve with some hard-strutting disco shapes to impart for all you fabulous freaks of the night. "The Drive" leads the way with a nagging, seemingly endless arpeggio draped in subtle flecks of harmonizing synth shapes - it makes for the perfect energised club track. "Ke Ai" is a more emotional number that seeks to tug at the heart strings even as it makes you move. "Fray" brings something a little cheekier with its darting high-register lead lines, sweet chords and airy mixdown - this is one for the terraces of the warmer months to come. "Air House" completes the set with a dreamy, pad soaked floater that keeps that sturdy disco-informed rhythm section intact.
