We are extremely proud of presenting Deepbass, a talented producer and DJ from Glasgow, Scotland. After being fans of his deep, hypnotic and atmospherical techno for years we finally got him featured on Monument.&#13;

For us, Deepbass is one of those producers that creates a new and unique sound to the techno scene. He has a futuristic vibe over his tracks and DJ sets. A kind of sound you just fall into, like a dream, or like you are in space..&#13;

Q/A:&#13;
1. We love your deep and atmospherical sound. Why do you choose to create techno in this way? What is the message?&#13;
This sound for me is not something I chose, I always had an element of this sound when working in the studio. &#13;
Just something about the rolling hypnotic ambient infused sounds that I love. &#13;
I feel this music is all about the atmosphere and every track takes you on a journey and tells it's own story.&#13;

2. What kind of DJ gig do you like the most? (and yea... how was berghain?)&#13;
Usually I prefer smaller intimate venues where you have a close connection with the crowd, always helps if its a dark and dirty space.&#13;
Berghain was amazing, playing was everything I hoped and more, its true what they say there is a really special feeling in that place.&#13;

DJ and Producer Alex Tomb defies genre boundaries, seamlessly navigating through diverse emotions and musical styles in his sets. With a residency at Klubd in Nicosia at just 23, he made a mark on Cyprus' electronic scene. Since 2013, he's been a resident at Berlin's STAUB, known for its community and eclectic electronic offerings. Alex has graced iconic venues like Tresor, Gare Porto, and Kantine am Berghain. In 2017, he founded Capparis Spinosa, showcasing his music and exclusive collaborations. Releases on labels like "12" and MAEVE reflect his commitment to artistic expression. Alex Tomb, a stalwart in the European electronic scene, continues evolving as a producer, label owner, and DJ, drawing on his wealth of experience.

Episode 22 is here, and today we present Hamada, a well known figure in Malmö’s underground scene, now based in Stockholm. One of the driving forces in Solstice and former Club X. His passion for the music and the culture behind it is what drives him to keep the scene alive and thriving. When Hamada is behind the decks he takes you on a journey through the deepest techno sphere.

Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I was mixing CDs for pure fun in my early teenage while at the same time dedicating most of my free time to studying guitar.
Like the old way CDs were made as a journey, the same way I enjoy electronic music sets.
As my interest for electronic music grew, as did my interest in the artform behind it. By 2009, I began mixing trance using Online DJ, which eventually led me to discover techno.

A: Deep Rhythmic Journey

Q: Your best set in 2023/2024?
A: A tie between Bellum Zona in Göteborg and my bday bash at Anomali in Malmö.

Q: Your favorite track right now?

Artefakt is a collaboration between Dutch producers Robin Koek and Nick Lapien that share a love for melancholic, hypnotic voodoo music.

Joining their perspectives in a meticulous, hands-on working method, the two bring a balanced and hypnotizing sound to the club. Be it in the form of a dj set or their full- fledged hardware live set crystallizing in the mind and oscillating the body. What sets Artefakt apart is combination of musical material, atmosphere and groove, captivating your spirit, whether you are listening quietly on headphones, or you hear the music pounding from a 10 foot tall PA at a rave.

Artefakt adopts techno as an artform rather than a musical genre. Combining high art and underground culture stemming from the uncompromising squatting scene whilst practicing musique concrete tape improvisations in galeries and musea. This merging of worlds manifests in a versatile nature that is audible in the narrative selection of tracks and dj-sets.

They first introduced their textured, layered and atmospheric sound with 'Mirror Society’ back in 2012 on Field Records. Further establishing their trademark sound on like-minded labels like Tikita, Prologue and Deep Sound Channel. After releasing 2 full EP's on the legendary Dutch imprint Delsin Records, the duo presented their debut album 'Kinship' showcasing the complete spectrum of their aesthetics.
